  5. Hi Guys, I am looking to do a small single on my car (J-Spec Vvti). Only looking for ~450 rwhp. Would like to keep the car as quick spooling as possible. Don't have the cash to run out and buy a boost logic or PH kit. My turbos are on the way out hence the reason for me even looking to go single. I am currently looking to purchase the following: - ebay manifold(http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Stainless-Supra-Turbo-Manifold-2JZGTE-2JZ-GTE-MKIV-321_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33742QQihZ016QQitemZ260205632363QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW) - tial 46mm wastegate - aeromotive FPR - emanage ultimate for tuning (already have this) I will fabricate and purchase all the other lil bits as I go along. i would really appcreciate some help in turbo sizing though. For my HP goals, what turbo would you guys reccomend. There are so many options, I am beginning to get confused. (GT30, GT35, T58, T61, SC44) Also, is it possible to use my stock injectors at low boost until I can afford to upgrade. Thanks

  8. Took my car out to another Mate before pulling out the turbos. He drove the car (a lil too fast for my liking) and told me that both turbos are quite fine. From his analysis, my problem could be one of 2 things, a solenoid, or an actuator. I have a greddy Profec B in waiting, he's suggesting that I install it first as it gets rid of the stock solenoids. If this fails, the next step would be to change the actuators Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thanks

  10. I've understood from many ppl that the wastegate itself sticks sometimes. Was just wondering about the quality of the turbo. Yep, I know, was just checking on here first as suprawise, its the best reference point I know of. And for the quantity of items u receive the price seems pretty good. But, I guess, you pay for sh$t .... and thats exactly what u get

    How do the 2 cars compare in terms of performance; acceleration/top end? BPU supra versus RX7 with similar mods ... what would the end result of this battle be?
  16. No we haven't ... Just really looking for some guidance on where to begin from you more experienced folks.
  17. guys, I took the sup out for a drive tonight paying closer attention to the RPMs and boost guage Compared to you guys, who get .8 bar on the first tubbies at 1800 RPM .... I only get positive boost on them between 2500 and 3000 RPM up, with .5-.6 bar coming in closer to 4000 RPM. What can cause this sort of Lag? Then between 4000 and 4500, there is a slight moment where the car feels like the acceleration isn't as much from 4500 up, I build up to .8 -.9 bar at 5500 - 6000 RPM this .8-.9 bar seems much more violent than th .5 that I got earlier in the RPM range. I am thinking that is because both turbos are operational
