As per this thread, I'm trying to get to the bottom of this issue I seem to be having with my idle.

For those of you who don't want to sift through three pages of discussion, in a nutshell this is what is happening.
I got to start the car via the normal method (i.e. disarm the car, put the key in the ignition and crank the engine over) and the car starts fine but then the RPM's just keep on increasing. Not just a small amount either, the rpms just keep climbing all the way through the rev range. I generally cut the ignition once they reach around 3,500rpm, but I have no doubt that it would go all the way to redline if I didn't turn off the ignition.
Now here comes the interesting part. If I start the car via the remote start method (i.e. disarm the car, activate the remote start via the remote) there is no problem at all. The revs stay at the correct RPM and I'm able to jump in and drive off without a problem at all.
I have done numerous resets of the ECU and the DBW System but nothing has changed.
I ran the engine diagnostics (Bridge Ports TC & E1 - ODBII ECU) and I got the following error codes which I can't bloody find documented anywhere..!!!
Check Engine Light (CEL): - 89
ABS: - 44
SNOW: - 32

The problem is that I can't find any TSRM for the VVTi Late Model TT Supra's so I'm don't know where to check, what voltages to check for, etc and can't do any advanced troubleshooting steps either.
Car is a 2000 Model VVTi TT (Auto / Tiptronic - A340e).
I've come to the following conclusions so far: -
1. It can't be anything mechanical or related because I am able to replicate a scenario where it all works fine (i.e. via the remote start function).
2. It could possibly be something wrong with my Alarm System (Viper 791xv), so should I take it to a reputable auto electrician who can bypass the alarm system and troubleshoot further..?
3. A faulty ECU and I should try to swap the ECU over with someone else (bit of a mission finding someone with a late model VVTi TT Auto ECU), but this doesn't explain how I can get it work properly via the remote start.
I'm just really stumped as to what it could be. Not quite sure what logical path I should take from here on...
P.S. For those of you who aren't familiar with the late model TT's, the butterfly valve on the throttle body is controlled via a series of mechanical gears and a stepper motor which gets it's input from the ECU regarding how much it should open the butterfly valve.
