  1. Well I just went for a motoria 3" exhaust system from ebay designed for TT, trouble was as it was designed for TT it was really loud whilst I had NA engine in, quietened down nicely with TT engine though.
  2. I'm dreading the day this happens to my NA-TT with w58 box! Was there any tell tale signs before it occured? How drivable was it afterwards? Hope it's sorted.
  3. Hi, my na-tt with w58 gearbox makes a kind of rumble noise on full acceleration. The sound seems to eminates from between the dash and the gear stick... Now I like to kid myself that maybe it's just the exhaust and first catalytic converter rattling a bit but it's probably something worse. It seems to happen in 1st 2nd and 3rd more than others leading me to think these gears are struggling to cope with the extra torque from the TT engine. It's definately not clutch slipping as I have high performance clutch recommended by Paul whiffin. Anyone know what exactly is happening to make this rumble? The gearbox still feels smooth and faultless for the majority of my driving and rumbles seem to get quieter after a good few bursts of acceleration too... This has been the case for over 6 months and doesn't get any worse. Thanks for any replies/ridicule.
  4. I know these are RARE but just thought I would put a request out in case, My NA-TT is a nightmare in this winter weather with no LSD.
  5. Hi, I see you have gone offline now but I will definately buy this from you I hope paypal is acceptable for you... otherwise I can always do cheque through post or something. I will check back later tonight to see if you have replied and again tomorrow. Thanks alot Adam
  6. Can't make it to London on Saturday, bet it would cost a fortune to deliver too... how much did you want for it? It hooks up to W58 manual 5 speed prop right?
  7. Waiting for results... Cheers Ad
  8. I was going to go single turbo on my na supra but in the end I got a TT transplant from a guy on here called Keron for 2300 quid...

  10. I'm running an uprated exedy clutch in mine but soon replacing to rps street max. I take it your gearbox is a 5 speed, if you go to whifbitz website they sell various rps clutches for this gearbox. The tt engine produces over 300lb of torque so you will most likely want to go for the 380lb torque capacity clutch option which is around 450 quid. If you are thinking of going for more than standard bhp with it you will want higher torque capacity one which is obviously more expensive again plus you are then risking ruining the gearbox rather than a slipping clutch when absolutely flooring it as these 5 speeds don't last long at if your running bpu power.
  11. Just looking at your car and is that not a 6 speed with the turbo clutch then? Mine is 5 speed you see so probably a wimpier clutch.
  12. Well I was told it was some unknown type of EXEDY clutch before...
  13. Hi, My clutch needs replacing on my NA/TT and I was wondering if I would get away with a RPS clutch with 300lb/ft torque capacity or would I need the next clutch up with 380lb/ft. Car does have 3" 2nd decat system FMS but other than that is pretty standard. Running W58 box. Thanks for any advice.
  14. Hi, don't suppose you know if it will work with the W58 5speed manual do you?
  15. Yeah I suppose they have done features on tuned hot hatches recently. I always wonder what they would make of BPU and beyond Supras though, as if they are overlooking the fact the Supra engine was obviously designed for far more power than it puts out as standard.
  16. I like the way EVO likes the cars in standard form and frowns on modified/tuned vehicles like many Supras are, but if you ever read the long termer car reviews they are always trying to change things on them to make them better like tyres, front splitters etc etc.
  17. When you say it runs do you mean the engine is actually at idle until you let the key off? Mine was turning over on start up but would never actually go to idle... turned out to be the crank timing star which had come loose and damaged the timing sensor. Just an idea.
  18. Im running a NA-TT with W58 Gearbox and NA suspension. The ride height doesn't seem to have changed even though I read that the TT engine is heavier. I am looking to upgrade now so should I opt for TT suspension applications or stick with NA designed suspension upgrades? Also if I were to fit stock UK spec TT suspension would this raise my ride height? Thanks for any help guys... I'm getting there ;-)
  19. That looks truly awful, doesn't even have hanger attachments on it??
  20. Yeah I guess I will go for an ASI Fluidyne style one if I can find one. Oh well more money.
  21. Well when i look down between the air con condenser and the radiator with a torch i can see a fresh splash of what must be coolant on the fan housing at the back of the radiator. It looks like it has squirted out from just around the middle of the radiator onto fan housing behind and then seeped down onto the undertray. (Thats what i think it looks like anyway) :-)
  22. Just noticed that my radiator is leaking very slightly onto the undertray and on looking for a replacement radiator found adverts for this stuff... K SEAL http://www.kalimex.co.uk/section.html?secpath=01.04.&pgid=17 So how bad an idea would it be to use this? My thoughts are that it will no doubt be too good to be true but its ever so slightly tempting rather than forking out for new radiator.
