  1. A) I am not a fella, B) More pointless posts from you. If its about insurance companies in general then post it on another thread, not a club sponsors thread. As a car forum, we should count ourselves lucky that we have sponsors, we shouldn't be publicly trying to give them a bad name.
  2. Seriously, your posts are pretty obnoxious and irrelevant, its tiring to read. Sky Insurance prices may not be the right time, place etc for everyone but there's no need to bait them for reactions on a public forum. I for one, suffer massively with insurance and have done for a number of years, however my car has been insured with Sky for the last two years because not only were they the cheapest (which they may not be for everyone), but they offer the best policy (for me). Insurance is such a personal thing, right down to what your door number is, we cannot compare prices to someone else on the other side of the country. I would never ask someone else what they pay for insurance, and then expect to pay the same myself, that would just show how naive you are to the whole industry. I am not looking for a keyboard fight (you sound like the type of person), but just putting in my 2p.
  3. Just dont open a room tab, my one last year was £90 with a little help from Burna!
  4. I was panicking that I had missed the ticket sales for this LUCKILY I still have this weekend free, South Africa 28th - 9th May, Hamburg 13th- 16th and and then Dragonball 17th - 19th May, fun times!!
  5. They're cheap, but they're crap. Yeah this!!! Send my regards to Luke, he got me a great price and was brilliant with my insurance, he is always on email if I have any questions! I didnt rate one of your ladies in your customer service department though!
  6. To be fair, most of their cars are overpriced...
  7. Your on my 'to do' list, O'errr! I dont know who will be my passenger yet
  8. To be fair, on the taxi journey home we couldn't even tell the taxi driver the name of the hotel as we were in such a state, walking would have been better At least you won't have to worry about me being horrifically hung over and trying not to throw up in your car this time
  9. I am sure that is at the top of the list for most women
  10. I think you've made your point. Shane, as others have said, your best best is to get quotes from other garages based on the work you had done, and then send them copies. I wouldn't approach trading standards just yet, just see if they are willing to negotiate on the cost. I do feel for you though, it cant be easy being accross the pond and wanting to get work done by a reputable garage.
  11. Merlin get my vote, but I think they can be quite expensive.
  12. I'm for three days only, I'm in the USA for 2 weeks in June and I don't fancy being away from home for too long. Plus, keeping two horses in the equivelant of kennels for four days would be über expensive!
  13. Im left with around £1200 a month. If I wanted a supra it would have to be a single and theres no way I could afford the insurance, also like Havard said, if you have a bad month where you have to fund stuff other than petrol and insurance then it'll effect you for months. I couldnt justify spending a grand when something goes wrong, and depending on the supra you buy that is bound to happen sooner or later.
  14. I take home £2k after tax, and even I cant afford to run a decent supra, youve got no chance on £700
  15. Sounds like we're on to a winner! Any chance your be working the dragonball weekend? God knows where they came from - - - Updated - - - Just to say, I will probably have a passenger seat going, you have half the fuel bill in a Vxr
  16. Atleast you may be able to tell the difference between a normal women and a prostitute after drinking pints of it, Burna couldnt!
