bought my supra now celica outside in rain, great car fsh load bills lots money spent over years , 99k but drives s new, try it..! oz wheels and sport exhaust only, not messed with. test tax all ready to go, just put new front discs on at toyota, month ago. on autotrader at 4750, take a look,anyone who wants a nice one will love this car . i need it to go as getting pain for having two cars...personally i cant see anything wrong with it, but then again aparently i couldnt see something if it were under my nose.. not sure if i can put this add here but hope its ok if not i will retract it no problem..

just like to thank everyone here for the advice and help over the last 8 months of searching...i know ive been a pain at times but the help kept coming anyhow so thanks, and also to mark at phoenix who drove for miles to check it out for me before i committed, very happy with car its brilliant,what a treat..!! will try and put here a few pics ive had done by our IT guy to show me what it may look like if i do the body mods i am looking at. (sorry if youve seen them on my other thread asking about 20" wheel fitment but i am very excited about the whole thing) so any thoughts let me know. anyway cheers..!

i had the guy in I.T change the clour scheme of the car you saw in my first mail so i could see what my car would look like if i took the same kit and wheels and put it in my colours. if anyone interested,take a look here, i think i will go ahead with it but on 19s.

thanks for the great advice guys, must say i am a bit disapointed but there you go. dont want to spoil cars handling or have to mess with body etc to fit wheels just for the sake of a look.. will look at a more conservative 18-19inch wheel same model and see how they look.. thanks again

i am trying to buy a set of antera type 349 wheels sizes 20x11 rear and 20x8.5 front. i have seen them on a supra in the states and it looks great.see attatched pics.. trouble is... one dealer sayin ok other saying that because the offset is ET25 they are worried about the rear fitment when i should be lookin at an offset of ET 45 for the rear of this supra.. what does it all mean and where do i go from here. i want these wheels ....! thanks for any help you can give me .

thanks for the viewpoints, but as some of you are aware i have looked at so many so called good cars and wasted lots of time and money , just goes to show there arent many good ones left out there and if someone has one they are loathed to part with it, that actually makes me very happy...! all the best with your new arrival when it happens, i may arrange the rip after all.

i could be interested at 11-11500 , i am in the south so if you would be prepared to meet at northampton which is an hour roughly away for me and you too if you are in derby, i would like mark to look at it and its not fair really to have him do the whole tab to yours , what do you think.?

hi, thanks for the pm, £12500 does sound like a lot of money, ive just had mark at phoenix take a look at a 54000 mile car in red auto uk model which was on at 11k we had a deal at 10500 but after close inspection it turned out not so good after all, and my consequent lower offer of 8k was not recieved well, would you be prepared to have the car checked thoroughly ? and would you be prepared to neg on the price with a proper buyer, no trade no messing if the car is right, it will take a lot of organising and cost on my part to make sure its checked and ok for me to buy and i am exremely critical..which is why i have asked mark to help me with my search, let me know what you think and you can pm me if you prefer. thanks perry

i feel more comfortable buying a uk car with history, i know it might sound daft but there you are, its enjoyable looking but not easy..

i am looking for a supra , a uk only man auto dont care.. must have full history and you have to be prepared for mark at phoenix to cast his well tuned eye over it..! if you have a really nice car and would consider selling it then i would like to speak with you but it must be a stunner i am looking for the best available. you tell me how much you want i will tell you if i am prepared to pay depending on above, no part ex no hang ups i just want one, a good one, seen a lot binned a lot too. just goes to show how hard it is getting to find the right car, let me know if you guys have anything, i am sure someone has a peach in their garage , come on guys "sell up" ..... bet i am the only member without a car...!! perry

hi , i am just at the end of my search and you at the beginning, make sure you read the buying tips on this site and listen to the guys, they helped me a lot in my search, dont cut any corners when looking and be carefull i found lots of pitfalls while looking so you will have to have your wits about you, saying that, ive enjoyed my search and met some decent people too, its all part the fun, and you wont be short of help round here,these guys are proper enthusiasts. hope you find what you are looking for.

i appreciate all the help,must say i didnt expect it. just goes to show i am buying into the right crowd, you even have a bootie on side, (he will know who he is) me ex 148bty 29. anyhow back to the car, its a peach and all is in order service books the lot, its advertised at present on pistonheads at 11k if you fancy a look ,below are some images,too far for me to travel back up there again as i am overseas at mo, he is a private seller,and a decent bloke, he is in a place called erith and its a pain to get to, last time i spoke to mark at phoenix he said he might go visit , course i pay for his time no probs but is a way for him to go, so could do with a specialist a bit nearer if poss. must say i am getting a bit excited about this and looking forward to hopefully buying you chaps a beer or two on one of your meets. thanks again, pezzerr.

as my other post found after a long search a possible car worthy of next step , uk 96 car low miles with history and only a few light mods, sounds perfect.... looks great deposit done but before i pay the balance of 10k which is full money for a supra like this i need it checking by someone good.the cars in kent, i was thinking of phoenix but they are in watford which is quite a way.. any help is much apreciated , just want to make sure i get the right car.

need someone in kent to check out before i buy, any ideas?

new to supras, started out trying to find as standard as possible uk car with low mileage full history and low on owners, the most genuine i could find..its a struggle.. dave r has a blue uk supra in the for sale section and i must say its far from standard but looks great, i am going to try and get to see it as well as a standard white supra i have found which i want to see also, just not sure i want a white one? also a little hesitant at taking on a car with lots of mods...will it mean more to go wrong? still both tempting and you supra guys seem serious about what you are into....and i like it. let you know what i end up buying if i can relax my arse long enough to enjoy the purchase.. thanks for your advice everyone by the way, this is a great site and a credit to everyone who contributes to it.. perry..
