  2. dont bother with either mate, i had one and lasted 2 years and rotted away, the back pipe is mild steel and then can is stainless... uk weather is horrid to it, if you have the chance get a full stainless with stainless pipes as well then yeh go for it... dont be fooled alot of pipes say stainless exhausts but in fact they are just referring to the can on the end

  9. i got a quote on money supermarket.com for 7594 quid, deposit of 1020 and 11 monthly installments of 652 quid pmsl i think it will be sky or aidy flux again for me depends who can undercut each other the most, takes the wee wee.

  11. renewals next moth, 8 years ncd and aged 29 last year cost 450 and this years theyve tried hiking it up to 680. so far ive bartered down to 592 but it takes the mick, nothings changed to my policy the robbing gits anyone elses gone up?? im either going with sky again or staying with aidy flux if they can beat sky's premium what was funny was the young lad trying to quote me at another company if ive had any experience with modified cars...... ermm yeh ive owned one for the past 4 years.....   13. did you search for my How to?? tells you how to do it oven styleee. looks like a good job there fella, i found the hardest part was trying to get the old sealant off.

  16. the bare head, would that be a cheaper option if i was to be want ingto replace the valve stem seals? on my tt head, ps does the head differ between uk and jap spec

Well its the dreaded service time and to be fair im going to try and do a few bits first before it goes in. however when its in the garage im wondering if its worth getting them to fit a new fuel pump, theres nothing wrong with my current one but as the cars not getting any younger, ive had it 3 years of the 5 years thats its been in the country and its never been replaced. with me looking at keeping the car for a good few more years would it be worth while doing it now or at a later date when i have enough cash for faster mods in a few months time.
  24. cheers nic, ive done some research and it seems that the larger 4 pot brakes take a different shaper brake pad to the smaller 2 pots
