Just checked with him, and he's lowered the price as he's just bought a S-max, and he needs to sell this and his ZT190 before he takes collection. So, it's a pretty cheap 3.0 v6. Craig.

Thanks Chris - I'll keep an eye in it all and get the garage to stick a decent gauge on it. Sill question though - is there any way i can find out if it's got a dry sump? -

For an update guys - Just checked the oil level and it was only just regestering on the dipstick - I then straightened the dipstick as it was curved and tried again - Hey presto - the oil is sitting dead on the MAX fill line. As for the oil pressure - spoken to a few chaps on the ultima forum, and they think that the loose wire should be for the oil pressure sensor - however - they did mention that the oil i put in it as advised by someone from Le Mans was the wrong type (10-45) apparently i should of used 20-50. So anyway - it's going to the garage to have all the fluids replaced brakes, engine, gearbox etc, and then i'll see what's what. I've also got two chaps who have built there own Ultima's coming over on Sat (maybe) to have a look and see if they can help. God i love forums.... They make you so worried - yet so satisfyingly happy when it's all good news. - ok not good just yet - but still happier than yesterday.. -
Blimey - I sold the supra to someone in Sweeden about a year and 1/2 ago - still - thanks for the reply ;-)

Neighbours from hell - do i, or don't i...

Thats cool - I'm sure i'll have another letter posted to me telling me the wrongs i've done!. We had an issue with the parking as they kept on blocking us in, saying that we didn't have a driveway - when it blatently was. They wrote us a nice letter saying they'd spoken to the council and it wasn't a driveway bla bla bla... I then spoke to the council and had the front of the house "Dog boned" - now no one can park there. - I was all nice though so no complaints ;-) I'm sure they'll be ok - if i send them a letter. -

yeah - as we aren't on speaking terms i was just going to send a curtousy letter telling them that we are having them replaced on a certain date, so i apologise for any disruption made. Then advise them that we would need to push back excess to make the gravel boards fit in the correct location. I can't see them having any problem with it as i'm in my right to change them -not sure how i go about asking them to support the tree that currently blow's against my fence (It's so far smashed the top 3 sections of the fence off) - i think they just won't do it, the gardener said he can lob it down so it doesn't touch then fence when the wind blow's but it's still on there side - so not too sure where i stand on that. -
Well, as a few of you already know i'm currently going through an on-going legal case with my neighbours which has so far been going on for about 3 years. They've given us greif in the past with Parking, building etc. However, all our fence panels are currently bowed due to the excess amount of debris/dirt pushing agains them (Some are bowed by more than 30cm. I noticed the other day that they have just had there building landscaped and had a rockery built with a fountain etc. Only downside to this is everytime they turn it on, my fence panel gets soaked. Well i've decided that it's time we changed the fence panel's anyway and the posts as they are quite litterly falling apart. The gardener told us that he would have to clear room for the new panels and gravel boards, and all of excess he'd have to push back to next door, along with the overhanging tree's and plants. So do i tell them that i'm having them changed or not? I want too just out of curtousy, but the missis thinks i shouldn't bother over all the hassle we've had with them in the past... What do you think ?

Well, i think my ultima's not too well.. Took it for a drive today, and noticed the oil pressure dropped from 2 1/2 bar to 1 bar when i pulled up to a stop after a 5 mile drive. Pressure went up if i held the revs to just over 1k, but wasn't ideal. Drove home (5 mins if that) cut it off and checked it over. Seems I've lost a fair bit of oil somewhere, as although no drips, the underneath of the car had a film on it. Checked the water once cooled down, and noticed it was dark and lurky, not milky - but looked dirty. - Hopeing it's not oil, but that would explain where the oil's been going and why the car's burning it. Oh well, had the car two weeks and a hidden problem has occured - I guess that's why it was up for sale. Anyone want to buy a 24k lemon? Hopefully it's nothing too bad - i think worse case is a head gasket - so does anyone know how much it would cost to get repaired? 5.7 v8 chevy small block. Any other damage it may of caused? What checks i can do before i send it off to the garage? - i was thinking of taking out a spark plug and seeing what that looked like? Thanks Craig.

I've got a set of Cobra's that i will be needing to get rid of in the near future as i'm buying some original seats for the Ultima. Not sure of the model, but they are extremly comfortable, Be looking around £300 for the pair. http://www.tripkings.co.uk/ultima - some pics of them on there.

I could do, but not too sure where i'd get one from ;-) I've been noticing i'm doing about 2 litres of oil every 400 miles - doesn't sound quite right. - not dripping anywhere, so must be burning it up.
