well, i'm driving it back from the garage on sat, which i can't wait to do! first time its been driven in 8 years and the first time i've got it our of first gear, after that i'll prob stick it in the garage and try and sort out the bodywork/outside areas, then once thats all finished do the interior, and hopefully take it for some more drives ready to take to le mans :-)

Yay - The humber hotrod project just had a major change. It now has a full 12 months MOT :-) Yay - it passed.

I bought some 200mb ones from misco - £105 per set. They work great. They do work on other ring mains, aswell, just so long as they go into the same fuse box. i use one by my router, one by my xbox, one for my tv, and one 200ft away in the garage.

I'm using it to test Wake on lan, so i can shut down the trading floor of an evening :-)

Thanks Alex, unfortunalty we run an app called CSA - cisco security agent, which blocks pretty much anything you try to do remotly :-( - Not too much of a problem as i could turn it off on all the machines, but i'd rather do that in the evening. Security's a nightmare!

Anyone know a way i can list all the computers on my network with there MAC addresses? Ive just spent the last 2 days sorting out all our DNS issues and duplicates, so my network should be free from any issues :-) I have a program called LanHelper which does it, but i can't run it during the day in case something bad happens! I think i can telnet the switch and find out that way, but i'm unsure of the commands to use? Thanks Craig.

See, Mr pot is very clever - He hides all his porn on another drive ;-) Try looking under add/remove programs and uninstall anything that looks suspicious, then delete temp internet files and run some spyware software. I'm guessing it's not that though as spyware doesn't normally take over your harddrive.

Thats Sad news. I had my supra when i was 18 and it was the first RWD car i'd ever owned and the most powerfull thing i'd had before that was a vectra 2ltr. So i can understand young drivers in powerfull cars. Most of the problem at that age is over confidence and being egged on by others. Still it's a very sad story.

I need one with Europe maps. I did have a V2 that was only 2 weeks old, when the wife decided i no longer needed it and threw it out with the rubbish accidentally, so she's buying me another. Just looking though, and can't quite decide weather to just stick with the tomtom one V3 (£132) or go for the 720 (£227) and then do i need the traffic add-on which is basically another £30. The 520 looks ok, but it doesn't say anywhere that it does Europe.

I'm 6"3 and i couldn't fit in an RX7. I currently own a cerbera and it's an incredible piece of kit, just need to have a little experience with RW car's otherwise you'll be in a ditch on your test drive!

i went to the sandals resort in St Lucia. To tell you the truth i didn't like it too much as i get bored very quickly. A freind of mine has been to Barbados and he loved it. I've been to the Maldives and i loved every second of it for the snorkling/diving, but thats not in the Caribbean :-(
