Ok. since my turbo kit was taken off my car its incredibly loud, so much ive stopped using it to go to work at 5 in the morning as it shakes the houses. its a full de-cat which doesn't help and i'm not sure which exhaust system it is (see my garage for pics) but an incredibly loud one. My cars up for sale but not really shifting and everyone who's asked and even has agreed to buy it has just been time wasting pricks so far and let me down. I managed to buy myself and the g/f a house today to eventually move into but its a quiet area and i would piss off everyone with the car so.. does anyone know how to make the car quieter or to a reasonable sound level. I just don't wanna spend a lot more on the car as its up for sale but this is quite important.

this is a stupid attempt of the government to get rid of old cars- 1- whoever has an old banger would be able to afford a brand new car? 2- that new car would loose a 5th of its value as soon as it leaves the forecourt. 3- hardly anybody buys new cars 4- everybody's skint

i was under the impression you can go 5mph max above the speed limit before points are involved??? scary to think a couple of mph can cost a licence- and what about aftermarket (bigger) wheels affecting the speedo? surley that comes up as something you can't change? i hate this country

only reason i'm not getting an evo is cos nobody will insure me which is crazy really considering i was being insured on my single for £1100 fully comp. annoying cos i really like evos. my dad used to have an evo 8 FQ400 and it was sooo fast

just read the other forums search and they sound really good. think i'l get one as soon as i sell my supe. trying to find out what mods need to be done to reach the 350-400bhp mark. i saw a white gt4 the other day with the castrol/rally graphics on and white racing wheels, it looked stunning!

I'm a tree surgeon (climber) and its great most of the time but its when i'm hanging on for dear life up a 60ft tree being swung about in a gale with rain beating down at you and i'm thinking " this is sooooo not worth it!!!" apart from that its good money and keeps me fit and outdoors

Ok. ive weighed up some pro's and cons of a few cars i'm looking at after i sell my supe, mainly GT4's , 300ZX TT, GTO's, RX7's etc and after insurance being sky high on evo's ive started to look back to what i really want in a car. i like rwd but it seems like in typical british weather its just not fun to have a fast rwd in the wet most of the time, mainly cos i'm just scared of loosing it lol. So that scraps the RX7 300ZX etc, and GTO's seem to have a RAC badge permently placed over their head. So looked into Celica GT4 (i used to own a celica 1.8st) and i don't think its looks as amazing as the supe or some others but its the 4wd and the handling + power that i'm hearing about that sounds like a winner. Just wondered how they compare to the supe in acceleration, i'm looking at getting a WRC version (apparantly thats the one to get) and ive seen a few boosted up to 300bhp with minor mods. Just want to get a bit more info about them from actual owners, as ive noticed a few ppl on ere have got them and say they are good cars. I just dont want to be dissapointed with the acceleration and want something to compare it to- i had an integra type r before my supe and was wondering if the acceleration was anything like that? any info would be much appreciated

I hate it when reporters start slating celebs for their cars, jay k has a massive collection of cars, super and classics but just try and bring "gas guzzling, eco killers" into the argument. he can only drive one car at one time so whats with the "emmisions of a small nation" he produces. reporters are such twats sometimes. plus they didn't mention that jay k actually invited the guy over for drinks with him so it wasn't like he just started taking the piss from nothing, also apparantly the chef guy started to annoy them earlier before jay k said anything so the guy deserves to be banged away for being a complete cock. shame they can't prosecute all car vandals the same way....

ok i might be a bit optimistic lol. complete new respray (inside and out) brand new unmarked wheels and new tyres engine done 87k gearbox (replaced) has only done 25k leather (cream and black) seats front and rear and door cards, dash is suade and alcantara, brand new apexi intake, suspension shocks changed (back to blistein) from whifbitz and whifbitz changed suspension arms and few other things i'l list. bushes etc changed. i'l list more in spec later

Right, basically i'm selling the supe as im bored of it now and going to scout around for another car, maybe another supe but only in the future when i have the money to get a good tt. Car is going to more or less going on pistonheads unless its not grabbed up on ere first when i post it up for sale. annoyingly enough its going to have to be a quickish sale as i'm a bit financially screwed at the moment and need to sort myself out rather quick lol. i'm hoping for around the 4k mark so it can leave me enough for something like a gt4 or a 300zx(awaits abuse). i was saving for an r33 gtr but even though i have found a few near me for around the 6k mark i still dont think i can stretch as i'm moving out with the girlfriend soon, not a saving period lol. for pics look in my garage and i will post up a car spec etc on the for sale section a bit later on. car is a n/a 5 speed manual. anyone who is interested just pm me, also my n/a single kit is still for grabs in the parts section

personally i think £1500 is a good price for me to sell it at but then again its not the ideal climate to be selling anything now days. chris wilson thought it was fair when it was at £1800 so up to you really. you prob would have to spend more getting the single setup than a tt job but then again a single is much more powerfull. i'm not in a major rush to sell but i am happy to negotiate with anyone

OK, as its been a while now and nobody has seemed to be interested in the kit i'm going to re-advertise it on ebay as i just plain need the money now. i will do this over the weekend so if someone wants to PM me and make me an offer over £1500 then i will consider a quick sale

hopefully this maybe the turning point for the govenment to take note of peoples opinions. not the best way to do it but in this age of corruption and greed it may be the wake up call they need. it took me just over 3 hours to get from southwark to watford today!!! seems like a stupid idea to shut off loads of main roads for vip car escorts and bring london to a standstill. i agree protesters may have caused some closures but we kept getting stopped for vip escorts and it was such a piss take.

Ok Single Kit is now up for sale on here at a reserve of £1500 (see the for sale section for details and the previous ebay auction) Someone on ebay met the reserve but turned out to be a scam so now up for sale here instead with a lower reserve as i can at least trust people on ere.... I will listen to offers and PM but the highest bidder over reserve will win unless someone comes up with a good offer. good luck for those who are interested
