ok i'm looking at a few auto tt's and ive contacted a few people about mods etc. one guy seems to have a jspec bpu setup (minus aftermarket intercooler i think) but when asked the boost he said it runs 1.5 bar. i was under the impression that its bad on jspec turbos for this and did email the guy about if the turbo's are hybrid/uk and not got back yet. anyone any info or if it has been running like this for some time, is it wise to walk away?

i had a mint condition dc2 before getting my supe. not bad for a 20yr old at the time lol. few mods and got 229bhp rolling roaded. very quick and by far the best fwd handling car to date. miss it a lot, effortless round corners and can embarrass nearly everything on twisties

i'd prob have an Escort Cosworth, my dads got one and its soooo nice to drive. just gone in to the shop to be tuned up to around 500bhp... see if i can have a go

If you didn't have a supra and a budget of 10k...what would you buy....and not another supra..or single. Me and my mates are always discussing this in the pub and i'd like to know opinions and reasoning for said choice, game on

No, in comparisent to a tt. my mate wants to get his evo running to around the 350-400bhp eventually, i'm assuming you can just bpu it. thing is i advised him on a 4wd thing as he's a bit of a pratt and a tt supra would kill him so i was trying to cover my own back compared with my next tt lol

Ok my mates now considering getting an evo up to the 6k mark (trying to upstage me again lol) and ive been helping him look at the mk 4 and 5 as the mk 6 is the best but more than his budget. for my own knowledge is the evo 5/4 faster than a supra in a straight line (as its a 2l car) would give up into the 3 figures mark acceleration wise. obviously round corners the evo would do a supe but more bothered about straight line speed. anyone here had an evo and could give any advise about them, cheers

thanks, ive seen some peoples quotes around the 4-5k mark! just ridiculous. when i had my supe sprayed focus ST Orange, that had quite a few more layers as apparantly its not a normal paint scheme. Did look nice in the sun though. Does anyone else get the urge to take a bite out of some of the candy cars or is it just me? they just look really tasty lol.

LOL, i have told him all the downsides to candy paint but some people are just not worth arguing with... Plus i told him if he gets candy apple red then he'l end up with chew and bite marks all over it from his fat neighbours lol.

Ok. My mates thinking of getting his skyline sprayed up and is using the same guy i used as he did an awesome job for if i recall about £1000 mark (not inc paint). Now my mate wants a candy colour but just wanted to know how much candy paint would cost for a full respray (all inside bonnet etc) and if anyone has candy paint on ere then could you give me a ballpark figure? cheers peeps

Just wondering if anyone ever replaces the stock turbos with aftermarket (if they exist) turbos, not uk hybrids. like a cheeper solution to going single but not massive twins. or are the stock (or hybrid) turbos the best available for the car?

cheers people! my N/A was running a single turbo, then had it taken off, full decat already in place but it was much louder, turbo was used as a muffler in one sense. i'm looking at a few tt's now ive sold my N/A this morning but wanted a bpu setup on next car. i just didn't know if you could have a quieter system whilst running bpu but still keeping the power levels high.

Ok i was just wondering if its possible to go bpu (full decat) but maintain a respectable noise level. its just my now sold N/A is a full decat and some very loud exhaust and its just stupid noise levels. i was wondering if theres a happy medium, as i am soon moving into a quiet area and my next supe can't be really loud even though i want bpu. any ideas advice?

I agree the defence looked a tad open, but apart from a few crosses, arsenal don't look like everyone wants to get involved, theres no off the ball running into key areas, nobody wanted to take responsability for any attacking moves, and wanted to play it safe when they should have got everyones confidence fired up early. just really bad tactics, especially at home

I'm sorry but arsenal spend so much of the game...and most games playing the ball backwards instead of forwards and seem generally afraid of taking chances. I'm no Man U fan..or any premier league team fan, but the players only want to walk the ball into the net pretty much all the time and its just so tedius to watch. Man U attacked full out sprint every time and it just goes to show that constant posession aint everything IMO.

ive emailed them but just waiting for replies bout the spec etc. but i think it looks stunning and i think it is a bit ott for a tt auto but if it is as clean as it looks it might be worth it. only thing that puts me off is the lack of back seats. i sold my supe today so ive nearly got enough to buy something nice but i'm in no rush.
