1. no idea? thats why i'm asking lol
2. i bought mine and was told it was running between 450-500bhp. i know for a fact now its not as i'm sure the turbo is too small for that figure.... i'l wait for my dyno results before assuming figures. And somebody have a guess at my turbo model on the other thread lol
3. ok managed to get the metal protector off the turbo to see what was underneath and unfortunatly can't really see any make but have got better pics now so someone might be able to identify it. Also is it normal to have a single underneath the piping? from other pics everyone seems to have theres on top?
4. anyone know where to get front seatbelts as mine are knackered now (maybe apart from toyota as we all know their rip off) either that or is there a type of harness that connects into the rear seatbelts so i dont have to get a support bar?
5. candy paint!!! at all looks tasty to me!
6. anyone know where to get front seatbelts as mine are knackered now (maybe apart from toyota as we all know their rip off) either that or is there a type of harness that connects into the rear seatbelts so i dont have to get a support bar?
7. strangely enough my turbo timer used to work fine but now when you set it, it only works once and not again??? like its memory stops and have to set it up before turning ignition off, then again on next journey.
8. i would have just thrown a dust sheet over the engine but my level of professionalism has never been admired
9. In my opinion the NSX should be top 3 there. the 0-60's on all cars seem a bit inaccurate...but then again every site has a different spec. "prelude the one to get if you can't get an NSX"??? The integra is a much better car than the prelude! evo's and scoobys??? where are they....surley replaces the FTO
10. checked all fuses and all fine- replaced a few this morning for stereo and wipers. the connections are fine behind the clocks but i remember the electrician said something about fuel sender unit might be damaged and also a wire from the gearbox (he didn't bother looking for it) might have something to do with the speedo not working. i'm bit lost with all this technical stuff
11. ok my fuel gauge and speedo stopped working a while back and electrician said it was not the fuses or the clocks/dials was told it might be the fuel hanger as this was possibly touched when car was being repaired. where is it located as i have no idea- my mate told me it was in the boot under the spare wheel bit and to undo about 6 bolts to get to the fuel tank. i did that and now i'm lost after realising i dont know what a fuel hanger looks like lol. also i dont know why my speedo isn't working, any ideas? (not rubbing/jammed on facia either) any help or diagrams would be really helpful
12. international car spares got mine for £850 so was about £1000 after vat postage etc
13. ok cheers. i'l pm after i speak to my mate as i think he needs a bit of convincing on the 205. i want one though (if i had space and money lol) so would be nice to share
14. sounds well thought out, i'l take notes
15. ok got the 6 speed box. can anyone give me a list of items i need for a conversion from a 5spd manual. speaking to whifbitz at the moment and they say i have to get the parts as they will cost a bomb from them (new) my car is already fitted with a "B" diff. and places i can get these parts would be a great help
16. yeah heard a few tales of £1200 fig 8 suspension probs. i don't think he's gonna do the who bodykit thing but prob the wheels, lowered, sound system etc. he changes his priorities of the car all the time- wants cheap parts one min, then low mileage, then the speed, cost, he bases everything on what his dad tells him (mechanic) but his dad knows fuc* all about jap cars and assumes they have the same reliability as a tvr lol need to get it through his head that jap cars are reliable (mostly) and the engines last for ever if maintained correctly
17. i'm not racist by the way before the abuse starts surley it should be white gaps between those quote marks i filled in ...
18. max 5k...but now he's thinking of 3k as he wants to keep some to "personalise" whatever he gets lol. i told him carlos sainz was his best bet if he gets the older one.
19. i dont blame the immigrants i blame the government. and even if we are a rich country surley we can sort ourselves out and stop people loosing jobs. the bedrock of our civilisation was given away when the british empire collapsed and when we let the government sign the eu treaty. immigrants do bring in income but at a cost of overcrowding and a crippling public service expense. we dont need immigrants anymore as we havent needed them since the romans! its just a tempory economy boost which comes with too many disadvantages on the long term.
20. Ok my mate is getting fed up of driving his corrado and wants something faster with good handling. after me giving him some advice on jap cars he likes the Celica gt4 (old one 165 or something) which is a shame cos the 205 in my opinion would be perfect for him but oh well. has anyone ever owned the older one as i'm not so familar with them as the 205 gt4. are these good cars and whats the performance compared to the 205 (and the supra tt) just out of my own curiousity.
21. As far as i'm concerned we should just cap britain from anyone seeking work/living regardless of everything. we seem to want to help everyone out before our own country first. i'm not blaming it on immigrants as if youve got the opportunity to work, your gonna take it whoever you are. what annoys me is that immigrants can apply for their family to come over and claim benefits and be given a house etc. why are we still letting people in when the countries in a crisis as its just more of my money down the drain! i feel so sorry for the average worker loosing his/her jobs when spongers are given freebees.
