there isn't but a few people have told me the tt engine is just better than the n/a one. just wondering if it would play better with a tt engine rather than a n/a- also being single i was wondering if it would be better?

is it worth changing to a tt engine later on or is it not really an issue on a single?

anyone know where to get the type of harnesses that connect to the rear seatbelt insert/button thing. just ive seen a few people have them as they didn't wanna put an anti roll bar/cage inside or loose rear seats.

the gearbox place wasn't cheap! cost me a fortune lol. yeah ok i see what ur saying though. i dont think i have it in me to break the car and i think i'm commited to a cause. as far as i know i think another 6 speed box was available with higher miles on so i might inquire into that with them and ask for a massive discount for my inconvenience or the rest of the parts for free for the rest of the conversion inc the other box. i'l talk to them mon if they answer the phone this time

no idea. would be strange not to have been done though as all the parts under the bonnet are apexi and blitz hks etc so whoever did the conversion would have spent a fair bit of money. no idea why it never came with a 6 speed though. seems like they either put it back to stock or never bothered in the first place.

it currently has a low mileage 5spd in so i can drive around. currently the problems are as follows: need to remap as i have no idea what its running at fuel guage and speedo not working (thinks its the converter chip i bought for the speedo playing up) small chip on rear bumper below light and small paint crack below it- minor things but still adds to the list lol. boot has no plastics/moulds as they were all cracked when i bought the car so i removed them. alternator just packed in so getting it sorted next week

ok as my gearbox plan has fallen through, was wondering what it takes to transform my single back into an n/a. is it a lot of work or is it a simple removal of the turbo and a few pipes? diy job or pro work?

i'l get some minor things sorted and sell it as a half turbo n/a project probably. somebody is always up for a challenge. somebody with money. or a chav will see "orange supra" regardless of anything else and snatch it up

spoke to them today and after telling them to refund all my money straight away they said i had to phone another department which were once again "unavailable" until monday. Time to sell the car i think, cut losses, get something else. had enough

i'l have to look up the names but they had rather large waterfalls..yosemite falls would be one. got near the top of a few but most peaks were closed due to the ice...when i say trek i mean "drive" and walk around 5 miles lol

i wouldn't say that is mainly the reason at all. i do listen to advice and frequently ask questions before proceeding into buying parts etc. i have been a bit foolish in the past i agree but now everything seems to be dissasociated with my actions. i was told the box was in good condition and had low mileage before i bought it so another company lies to me again. apart from inspecting it myself i couldn't have done any more than what i did. i was very thorough in explaining to the company what i wanted etc before i parted with the cash and the rest is down to them. still no fone call....i'l give it half an hour then i'l ring em wondering what it would be worth without the new box...dread to think

The problem is bosses now know that they can get away with paying shit wages to immigrants as its still more that there used to. The typical home grown brit is used to living on a basic wage and now with all this undercutting its causing everyone to adapt to a foreign lifestyle less beneficial than and typical english one. Its typical for some pp to say "poor immigrants living all bunched up together on min wage" but thats what there used to in there countries and now its going to end up with home grown brits doing the same as living goes up and jobs are cut, forcing more people to have to live in smaller places with one another- few of my mates have moved out and forced to share rooms etc. all new jobs should be given straight to the homegrown brit people already here, end of!

ok my car has stood still for 3 weeks after 2 weeks of driving and before that 6 months of standing still. started up car and now when revved black deposits (i'm assuming oil) and a bit of water which could easily been sitting in there are firing out the back spraying everywhere! i did fill up the oil and changed a few fuses and charged the battery as my alternator died (hence sitting around for 3 weeks) so i would have thought it would reset the ecu- unless the hks fcon box doesn't reset its self after after loosing power? but also the exhaust does emmit a lot of heat very very quickly even after 10 sec of idle. is this normal for a single (fully decat) to give off so much heat on startup?

prob is i dont think i can find myself a cheeper 6spd. i paid just over £1000 inc ...ironically...delivery. this just messes up all my plans if i can't get another one. i should demand they either refund all cash or find me another low mileage box and they pay the difference on it
