  1. No No No.... It will knock 2k off your car straight away. It looks good as it is.
  2. Veilside isn't horrible. It is down to personnel choice thats all. I do like the do-luck kit other than veilside but that is just my opinion.
  3. I like the colour but it's not for me I am afraid. Not a fan of graphics.
  4. Why have you done this when I am short of cash... Just what I wanted for a conversion.
  5. Would look cool if it came out something like that.

  9. I am trying to get hold of some rear spats without having to buy new ones as I can't really afford it. I came across these on fleabay, do you think it is worth paying £20+ for them and hoping they fit okay?? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-SUPRA-VEILSTLYE-REAR-SPATS_W0QQitemZ250163342662QQihZ015QQcategoryZ72207QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I bought some off a member from here (cant remember user name) just before my car arrived and got ripped off by him (he is lucky I cant remember who he is.. They didnt even fit and had a lot of the gel coat fitting. I gave them to the bodyshop when the car arrived and they threw them back at me in disgust. They must have been a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy..... Anyway.... Do you think they are worth getting seeing as they are cheap? I know you get what you pay for but as long as they fit, it should look ok... I think...
  10. A good price but a little too bling for my liking. If you like it, thats all that counts.
  11. As with most things, supply and demand will determine the price of a second hand Supe. I have a 1997 N/A Facelift Manual J Spec with 84,000 miles and going by some of the comments made by members on this forum, I would be lucky to get £4500 for it. Of course, if I owned a TT, it would be worth four or five times as much (so some TT owners think). However; it is not whether the car is N/A or TT that will determine the price but the availability of the car. I am sure that with the majority of owners on this forum being from the UK, the supply of Supe's outweighs the demand and therefore unless every single owner in the UK raises the sale price of their car, the price will ramain static/decrease. However; my case is somewhat different. Due to the fact that I live on a small island with a population of 85,000 demand outweighs supply for Supe's. With only 6 Supe's on the island, the price for such a car is exagerated compared to the UK. People over here actually prefer N/A to TT as they don't see the point of having a TT on such a small island. I recently advertised my car on a local classifieds website and stated I was open to offers and was overjoyed with the response. For your information, I purchased my car for £7k... Yes you read it right £7,000 and I have owned it for 4 months. However; since driving it around and getting the car admired by everyone that sees it, I have been offered over £10k for the car. Yup, £10k for a N/A. I am not selling the car as it took me long enough to get it over here and through local authorities however; it displays that supply and demand is the key element and not the difference between N/A and TT. It is about time that the N/A prices stopped getting a slating. If the guy wants to advertise his car for a price you think is over-priced, so what... The price for a UK Supe will continue to fall if the price advertised gets a slating every time. Come on guys... We are meant to be sticking up for one another here. At least support the bloke with his sale. Extremely long rant over with now...
  12. I simply used t-cut on mine. I didn't bother with the 2000 paper or anything like that and they turned out fantastic. Just a bit of elbow grease and patience and the job was a good-un.
  13. I am glad that they do them for my style of seat. It may be worth an investment depending on the feedback that gets posted up. Some people may want to spend more money to get their seats re-trimmed but at the end of the day it's all down to how deep your pockets are. Hopefully; these will prove good enough for those who want the leather look but have a limited budget. Looking foward to the feedback.
  14. Forgive me for being stupid but do they fit over the normal cloth seats and are all the seats the same. For example is a j-spec seat any different to a UK one?
  15. There isnt any feedback about them but it looks as though they do them for the FTO as well and someone has given them positive feedback for them. They dont look to bad.
  16. Looks very tidy indeed. Good Job. "I pity the fool who messes with my van"......
  17. I have a Veilside C2 kit on at the moment and was thinking of changing it for something else. As there are sooo many to choose from, I would appreciate any suggestions and pics of what to go for. Despite many peoples views on the Veilside kit, I like it as it looks very sleek and was looking for something along the same lines. The kit that has caught my eye at the moment is the do-luck kit. http://www.do-luck.co.uk/images2/jza80late1.jpg I am also looking into new wheels as well but can't afford the earth so again, suggestions would be appreciated. cheers guys.
  18. I'm not keen on the kit but yours is the muts nuts...
