John Fernandes? Has a 6R4 in his garage? I did think of the guy at the MG garage but he doesnt speak English so I fell at the first hurdle.

I have had work done locally before and it was awful. We have a lot of accident repair places but they dont like taking on big jobs such as full resprays. I would rather spend some of the £1000 saving getting it done by people who know what they are doing.

I was wondering if anyone could suggest a very good place to get my car sprayed and new kit put on. I was going to ask Supraloopy but then read the thread stating he isn't doing any 'big' stuff after pistonbroke's car. Knight-Racer sprayed my dash for me and did a good job of it so was considering them also. The problem I have is that as I am in Jersey, I will need to put the car on the boat and get it collected from Poole docks and taken back down to Poole when complete. The reason for not getting it done locally is that it is approx £1,000 more expensive for a basic respray and to be hones, the work isn't that great. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Spend the money getting it resprayed but leave the bodywork as it is. You will be ruining a decent lookng car.

I have a white one and will soon be respraying it white again. Black ones look good from a distance but as previously said, imperfections stand out like a sore thumb.

I have Tein monoflex as well. Certainly a good buy..

I missed some of the bits in the office. I think I will have to watch it again on Firday to see what else I can spot. It was a great episode. Turning James' stereo on with the remote when doing the challenge had me in tears.

cheers guys... Looks like I might have to set the suspension a little higher to compensate.

I currently have a c2 bumper on the car and will be replacing it when the car gets resprayed. I was thinking of putting a Top Secret III on but as there aren't any supras over here with one fitted I am unsure if it will sit lower than the veilside one does. The undertray of the c2 scrapes on speed bumps every now and then so I dont want to get something that is even lower to the ground. Does anyone know if the Top Secret will give me extra ground clearance? Ta very much
