Well.... After being at Keron's for a couple of weeks, the car is now on it's way back. Suprash collected the car 15 mins ago and now has the task of trying to make it down to Poole docks before the shipping company closes. I hope this is all worth it in the end..

I think it is an interesting idea. Although I spend a lot of time on the site, I am sure I have missed out on a lot of content as there are various forums that I do not visit. It might be nice to get a feature on a members car each time and answer a few of the simple "how do I..." questions. The traders on the forum could also take advantage of the magazine by promoting offers etc...

It certainly made me interested in the show for a short amount of time.

As Im long sighted my optician said it probably would be a waste of money for me. For those with pefect vision, you generally become long-sighted with age. The optician said it would only be a matter of time before my eyes would be back at the same level as they are now so said just to get contact lenses and save a couple of grand in the process.

Cheers guys. I have tried to look after it the best i can. The veilside kit will be going in the future but I didn't see the point in fitting a new kit and respraying the car just to have it shoved into a container and the possibility of getting it damaged. The car finally arrived at Kerons today after Konrad had a wasted journey down to the docks to collect it on Monday. The boat arrived on Monday but without the car as they forgot to ship it, yet when we phoned them to see if it had arrived they said yes.. What a cock-up.. Konrad was a top bloke and took the long drive down to Poole today to collect it.. again... It was good to find out that the tracker I have fitted works as well as I got a call from the tracking company 5 minutes after Konrad had loaded the car onto the trailer to tell me the car was being moved without the keys being in the ignition. Now it is down to Keron to work his magic before the car is shipped back with the addition of a couple of tubbies..

and what sort of running are you doing?? I guarantee it isn't just steady pace long distance running. Yes I know running is an aerobic exercise but steady pace long distance running actually makes the body hold onto fat as it automatically goes into starvation mode in preperation for the next session. The reason why the people with big muscles at your gym are fat is due to the fact that they are bulking. In order to increase muscle mass you must consume more than your daily macro-nutrient needs. This will lead to an increase in bodyfat level also. A weight-lifter will then decrease their calorie intake in order to 'cut' and get a more defined look. In essence it is true that you cannot build muscle and lose weight however; weight lifting whilst dieting dramatically reduces the loss of muscle mass whilst on a calorie deficit.

Weight training continues to burn calories up to 48 hours after exercise whereas with running, you only burn calories whilst running. Running also enduces muscle loss rather than fat loss. Sure, you can loss fat from running over time but you will also lose a lot of muscle mass. It will just leave you a skinny wretch. Not a good look.

Running (apart fro HIIT) is the worst activity for weight loss. You ideally want to be hitting the weights at the gym for that. Diet is the main thing to look at rather than the activity.

I have run many extreme marathons and the training for long distance running is far from the same to that of football. A footballer mainly uses fast twitch fibres whereas a long distance runner uses slow twitch. Therefore, you train differently. How many times a week do you intend on training as this will determine how you structure your workouts. PM me if you want any specific info or help with creating a training regime. Ideally, your weekly workouts should include both longer distance and HIIT as this will keep the fast twitch fibres firing and will help incease your overall pace.

I was going to get one before I bought the Supe. The import company managed to change my mind by explaining just how much money they cost to run/rebuild. It's not a case of 'if' it will need a rebuild but 'it will'. I was so glad I changed my mind and bought the supe instead.
