    iPod Hi-Fi

The missus wants a docking station for her ipod for xmas. She said that she wants a docking station that also has a CD player built in. I have had a look on the net and found a few that say they charge and play ipods. However; the one she has found says 'charge only' in the ipod info box. Sorry for the daft question but does this mean you can't play music through the ipod with it and it will only charge it up?? I have no idea about these things so hopefully someone can help before I buy her a gift she may not be able to use.
  2. I would be up for a set of skirts and bumper as long as they fitted.
  3. Arrived today and in the right colour..
  4. yeah, could be a bit of fun. I am pretty sh!t at the game so should be a laugh.
  5. I love these wheels. I have them on mine too.. Good price for a great wheel.
  6. I got one of those mails as well. Quite good timing considering I need a new set of skirts and am short of money.
  7. I played the special ops co-op last night with a mate and had a great laugh. I thinks its actually better than the campaign. Am sill getting used to the multiplayer but even think WAW was better.
  8. Thats bad luck... I am on my 3rd box due to the ring of death.
  9. Just picked mine up at lunchtime. Cant wait to get home tonight and give it a go on-line.
  10. The Ferrari F1 team fired their entire pit crew yesterday. The announcement followed Ferrari's decision to take advantage of the British Government's 'Work for your Dole' scheme and employ some Liverpudlian youngsters. The decision to hire them was brought about by a recent documentary on how unemployed youths from Toxteth were able to remove a set of wheels in less than 6 seconds without proper equipment whereas Ferrari's existing crew could only do it in 8 seconds with millions of pounds worth of high tech equipment. It was thought to be an excellent, bold move by the Ferrari management team as most races are won and lost in the pits, giving Ferrari an advantage over every other team. However, Ferrari got more than they bargained for! At the crew's first practice session, not only was the Scouser pit crew able to change all four wheels in under 6 seconds but, within 12 seconds, they had re-sprayed, re-badged and sold the car to the McLaren team for 8 cases of Stella, a bag of weed and some photos of Lewis Hamilton's bird in the shower!
  11. I am still hooked on the show. It's easy on the eye as it doesn't really matter if you miss some of it as it doesnt really make sense anyway.. lol.. A good episode last night. At least we found out about the blue-hand man. The main question is.... Does the pigeon die????
  12. I only wore them about a month longer than I should have but the thing that made it worse was not stopping running when I felt the niggle. In the end, the achilles was damaged and due to the fact that I continued running, the achilles just stopped repairing itself. It needed a helping hand to get the healing process working again and this included friction on the achilles to break down the tissue. OMFG, this was without doubt the most painful thing I have ever had done. I have broken bones before but this was the most painful thing I have been through. It serves me as a good reminder to stop running as soon I feel a niggle.
  13. Yeah, that was my problem. You tend to know when the shoes are passed their best but I continued with them anyway. 4 months later, I am just getting back up to speed again. A very sore lesson learned.
  14. They look pretty good shoes. I am a long distance runner and have suffered recently with achilles tendonitis. After many consultations with te physio it has come to light that it was probably my trainers that were the initial cause of the injury. They were 'over-supportive' in the heel and this led to the achilles becoming weaker over time. By the time the shoes had lost their support, the achilles was too weak to compensate resulting in injury. I might look a little further int those shoes. Look pretty good.
  15. Having the correct offset helps... Mine didnt need rolling. Great looking wheels and a great price. These would look luverly on a supe.
  16. Simon is a very clever man and knows how to make money. By kicking J&E out, the competition would have become boring and the media coverage of the program would have ground to a halt. By keeping them in, they have hit the tabloids yet again and created a little controversy that will see viewers tuning in yet again next week to see what happens. Well played Simon.
  17. Okay... Now I am confused. What was with the bluehand men and why were there dead people with blue hands on the floor of that house? I got lost somewhere along the line. I understand they found the blue hand on that guys body and then followed the signs to the house but that's it??? I thought it was pretty good when the kid left the hospital and went straight to the house.
  18. I got a tracker fitted instead of an alarm. I found out it worked when the tracking company called me to tell me my car was moving without the key being in it. I forgot to tell them Konrad had it on the back of his trailer.. lol...
  19. Just picked the car up and the new engine is fantastic. Thanks Keron for doing the job and cleaning up the engine bay, you could eat your dinner off that motor. Only took the car for a quick spin but am not sure how much quicker the new engine is as I couldn't stop the wheels from spinning.. Will try and get some pics up of the new motor over the weekend. p.s. Thanks to Suprahuman for helping me get the car off the docks today...
  20. Mine had those damn front spot lights when it came over. They were very quickly removed.. Stunning looking car..
  21. GOOD NEWS: Car is arriving back in the island today. BAD NEWS: They have left the keys in the UK. Time to go home and turn the house upside-down to try and find the spare key that was put 'somewhere safe' 3 years ago..
  22. I would rather still go for your one. £50 sounds good to me.
  23. Yes mate. Just got to wait for the car to come back now before I can try and fit them..
