  1. I could have sworn this was for sale 4 months ago when I last looked into getting a Supe - why can't he get rid of it? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1995-TOYOTA-SUPRA-AUTO-RED_W0QQitemZ200095057630QQcategoryZ18290QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  2. Nice one. Yeah this is one of the best forums I have come across over the years (apart from when you get accused of having no taste ) Look forward to contributing myself in the future when I am a little more clued up!
  3. Could be a good addition to the database on the forum - where all the terms are explained and you get the tooltips. Cheers
  4. That's good advice and it's one of the reasons I am considering going Stock and upgrading myself. Will be like a new car each time *grin* I will post another thread at some point re locating a specialist near my neck of the woods so I can get a decent first service and give it a thorough going over...
  5. Is there any bit of electronic kit that does this amongst other things? I have an SAFC-2 in my skyline which seems to have it's claws into most bits of the engine! Is that APU or something?
  6. Thanks! Don't even have a Supe yet, just a pile of cash and dreams. Most likely will be a Stock J-spec so I get to choose everything I want. Your figures are about what I expected, save for the exhaust, expensive pipe!
  7. Hi Guys and Gals How much (ballpark figure, within a couple of orders of magnitude ) would I expect to have to pay to A) buy all the parts for a BPU and B) get them fitted? I mean, could I get it all done for under a grand or is it much more than that? Cheers
  8. OK cool will bear it in mind - it's a touch over budget as I was looking at 1994/5 models.... if it had leather that might have tipped the balance
  9. Nice pics - gorgeous car! Would certainly be interested when it is up for sale - give me a shout when it is
  10. Is yours advertised somewhere? It rings a bell but between here, PH and ebay I get lost! Gunmetal is nice but not sure how stock your engine is *grin*
  11. Sorry if this is in the wrong section - there's no specific place for supra wanted ads that I could find but mods feel free to move this thread... I have decided that I would like to start off with a stock Supra, at least engine wise, so I can start my "new hobby" with a known baseline and not inherit anything dodgy. I wouldn't mind something that's had a bit of styling done though - but nothing too offensive Saw a lovely fresh import at the weekend which was black with full leather and all the gadgets but it was Auto, I probably would have gone for it otherwise. Anyway - pipe up if you have something...
  12. Nice one, count me in assuming I have found the Supe of my dreams by then!
  13. A cruel trick since I am looking for a manual Supe! Although since I am an april fool myself (birthday is today) I rarely get fooled *grin*
  14. The Wii is great - have friends over tonight and no doubt it will get used by all. Still need to whip out the soldering iron and install my chip though!
  15. Driving my GTS-T back from Bristol today passed a Supe that gave me a flash
  16. Well I have just returned from test driving a 1996 Auto TT in White - was very nice to drive, but I still haven't tried a Manual yet. There were two cars at the garage - that one, and a black 1993 with about 60k miles on the clock, but they Both had full leather and all the gadgets - very nice!
  17. Is it better, in your opinion to get a stock car and mod yourself, or buy one that's already had work done? I can see plus and minus points for both... but a lot of cars on pistonheads and indeed this forum and of course already been stage 1 at least...
  18. I do like the side skirts more than the bumper to be honest. Trying to avoid a silver one...
  19. As I said to the other guy - it's all subjective! And styling can be changed
  20. You just talking styling or what? That's rather subjective surely...?
  21. don't get confused there are a couple of black 6 spd's I was looking at - only one has been confirmed as having "issues". Veilside one is OK... and I do like the style personally...
