Pissed off now! Brother just phoned me to say he think he's blown the turbo in the Skyline. Blue smoke, no boost but drives normally apart from that. Was hoping it was still April Fools.

Yeah thought of that, but I'd just get another Supra! Seriously though, if it's a standard £250 DVLA job then it's hardly mega money to include with the car at time of sale, just like any other mod you may do. My parents cursed with with 2 middle names so can't even get my initials done properly

hehe yeah I need lots of reasons for the police to stop me Actually I also need to think about the sizing/shape of plates and where to mount the front one. Fairly annoying really.

It does seem to be more on the skyline forums that there's bad feedback, more to do with servicing etc than mapping perhaps. I don't know. The problem these days is that word of mouth / forums really is the only thing we have - and it's a risk to just pick a random place to try! That said, I would like to pop down and see you at some point as it is really local. Will drop you a PM.

When I pick up my Supe I'll be needing somewhere to take it to for an appraisal and service to give it a clean bill of health for future BPU etc, I want to run relatively stock for a while

That was weird - just found their name on the Skyline OC and searched here - first hit was the reply you must have made a few seconds earlier. They seem to be well rated and close by as well - will give them a call. Re Interpro - I would appreciate more comments, especially Supra related. Also Chris Wilson is doable from Wiltshire - he's the MAN for suspension etc isn't he? What about power tuning?

Yeah, I have been. Seems like a gamble wherever you go really, like most things. Was hoping to find somewhere that can do my Skyline and Supra but a lot of places seem to specialise in one type only, IE Norris for Evo, Powerstation for Scooby.

Yeah - I wouldn't trust this guy anyway. Just had a reply from asking for some interior pics (I wanted to see how far he'd lead me on) and he can't get any as he's "out of the country right now" I have had luck in the past from ebay, you just have to be as careful as you would be buying from a random stranger, checking everything with a fine toothed comb etc. I am in Swindon, yourself?

Interesting to see views at each end of the spectrum but nothing in between! Perhaps it depends on which guy actually does the work there? I could then ask the other question - are there any tuners that you guys would especially recommend in the south or south west? - Anyone tried Powerstation in Glos?

Hi All My brother phoned me today saying he'd found a local-ish place for us to get the skyline mapped as we managed to reset the SAFCII on it the other day. Anyone able to recommend them? Do they know their stuff? More to the point would you trust them with your Supra How much should we be looking at for a dyno and re-map?

Emailed the chap to clarify auto/manual and it's manual 6 speed. It's in the country already (was expecting him to say it needs to be shipped from some strange far off land) He's only just registered on fleabay... but car looks far too good for the price it's up for, that's not even a starting bid. What scams are making the rounds at the moment?

Could you just bodge a cron job into your IPcop box that blocks the machines you want to block at a certain time and unblocks them again? I don't know how familiar you are with iptables etc... I'm pretty sure IPcop has cron... it's what I use at home too

Couple of Q's Sean If the wing was replaced with a stock one would there be extra holes in the boot lid? Does the front registration sticker peel off easily for shows etc? Cheers
