Homer - +100 bhp? I have seen conflicting reports about what you can get on here. Are you saying getting up to 420hp with BPU is common place? Also - what happens after that 50k miles? (Semi serious question, new engine time?) James

Anyone know if it's easy to tell if I have a genuine kit or a copy? I guess it doesn't really matter but it would be nice to know If it helps there is a small crack in my bumper so I know it's fiberglass

There is certainly nothing visible under the car, it's just one long pipe with the same diameter all the way up to Cat 1. I am assuming a silencer would be fairly obvious?

One thing to to note is that I have a custom exhaust - it's a straight through pipe from cat 1 to the back of the car, no muffler or anything. Would the noise level really not be affected that much? Also, to go BPU would I definately need to remove it? Am guessing Yes but want to hear your thoughts Mr Simpson.

Here is a picture down the exhaust side of the engine. Is that a cat in the middle of a picture? Looks like it to me but would like confirmation. If it is indeed a cat then I am running 2nd decat only, which is still really loud. Would decatting this one make it even louder?

Agreed, I just got a quote for the SSQV with Purple fin and it's just short of £200 which is not an insignificant amount of cash. Will wait a bit until I can hear a few, as it's all personal preference anyway.
