  1. Can anyone help with this or do I have to deal with a Mr T?
  2. Sharpie, thanks very much for the pictures. It does look a lot smarter doesn't it. Very tempted now
  3. Am now going to this - was just going to Zip up the country roads via oxford though
  4. Very nice! Be careful. I hope you don't end up next to me actually
  5. So you either have spare turbos sitting around, or you're dying for an excuse to go single? Either way, Fun!!
  6. Haha, I can almost guarantee I will do the same thing. Should have gone for that auto box!!
  7. Thanks to michael and colsoop too - very informative. Am looking forward to it now Wonder if I will be looking for a new set of tyres afterwards though!
  8. Thanks that's exactly what I needed to know. Sounds like a lot of fun. I will definitely give it a go, however I fear the raw power of my supe will be let down by the lump of meat controlling the gearstick
  9. Hi All Right, I have decided to go for it and join everyone at Santa Pod on Saturday. I will be bringing my Supe but unsure if I will be competing or not as I haven't ever seen this done before, let alone done it myself. Can someone run through what actually happens at these things? Are you racing against other people, or one at a time or what? Would I need to bring anything special like insurance documentation or equipment? I am also assuming this would be a great opportunity to meet other members and get some advice etc... If this is a FAQ please point me in the right direction!
  10. Would you happen to know if they are any smaller than stock?
  11. Since reading Class One's post above I have decided to support the club by paying for a race however I may not actually have my Supra with me, it might be the Audi, in which case I won't run unless you need a pace car *grin* Can someone confirm this is OK, and should I give you both registrations numbers when I pay the money?
  12. Hi All Hopefully coming along to this. Unfortunately my Supe is in the workshop and I'm not sure it will be ready by Sat but if not I can turn up in my diesel weasel. Might save a bit of fuel too If I am in the Supe, I would like to compete (even though I'm a total race virgin!!) so my question is what's the deadline for paying the money? Cheers James
  13. I am extremely tempted to come along as a spectator. May see you there then
  14. Yes, sure - however I don't have the second cat, and for BPU I need both cats out
  15. relatively expensive, but I didn't say *too* expensive!
  16. Hi again Gaz Thanks for that, I thought as much. I agree it would sound "amazing" however I don't want to take the mickey re attracting attention to get pulled over by the police or anything like that. I daresay I will get a decat pipe (CW?) and just see how it goes. If it really is too loud I could probably get something done, but would be such a shame to have to ditch the pipe if I don't have do. Your vids don't need to be uploaded - just copy the URL from the photobucket like so: http://s168.photobucket.com/albums/u192/gazspook/?action=view&current=Supetunnel2.flv http://s168.photobucket.com/albums/u192/gazspook/?action=view&current=Supetunnelincar.flv Cheers James
  17. You seem to know a lot about this - do u have a connection with the company? Just curious Looks like good stuff though, assuming the sensors are up to scratch.
  18. DM100 looks pretty good. A couple of the sensor modules are "coming soon" inc boost sensor which would be nice, to integrate with the one dial. Display module $259 AFR Sensor module $195 EGT Sensor module $125 So $579 for to monitor EGT/AFR with expandability down the line. Only down side (apart from it being expensive) is that the Sensor modules themselves look quite big, so does the display module. Quite a lot of kit to hide somewhere behind the scenes...
  19. Yep saw that one - linked above. Is that the one CW sells?
  20. I was going to get AFR *and* EGT since I already have a decent boost gauge. Is the EGT not too important for BPU then?
  21. Are these any good? http://www.lambodoorkits.co.uk/vems-wide-band-gauge-p-204.html?currency=GBP Don't look as nice at the AEM UEGO but it would save a pod...
  22. Yeah that's what I figured - but it's still two extra dials to fit *somewhere* on my dash. Does there exist a gauge that does AFR *and* EGT in a relatively compact form?
  23. Hey guys and gals! I am trying to choose which gauges to get. I already have a boost gauge where the clock should be, looks really nice. Since I like my gadgets I'd ideally want a single LCD unit which can display everything I need, like the DEFI link thing. However, that doesn't seem to do AFR which is the main thing I need! I don't need to monitor much, I'd like EGT, AFR and maybe Oil temp, unless there are other things worth monitoring too. Any suggestions?
