Cheers - they seem fine, but the strange thing is, this is quite reproducable. First noticed it when I went camping after picking the car up - same setup, another adult in the car, and camping gear in the back. Hit 1.01 bar and got fuel cut. Seems like the more loaded I am, the more boost I get. Is this normal guys?

Hi Guys! Had a brilliant time on Saturday, was quite chuffed with my best time of 13.4 something before lunch. However I noticed something strange. I have a Blitz Dual-SBC that's "supposed" to be set to 0.9 bar and I have it set to beep madly at me when I hit 0.95 so I get advance warning of hitting Fuel Cut. Not *once* did I get any warning during my 15 odd drag runs, and boost never went over 0.91 according to peak hold. But, on the way home on the motorway, I'd consistently get 0.95 or more on the motorway in 3rd/4th gear. The only difference being on the way home I had a passenger. Does the extra load mean more boost to compensate?

What an amazing day - many thanks to the organisers. I hope you made some money for the club or at least broke even so we can do this again. To be honest I was bricking it having never done anything like that before, but got into the 13's after my first practice run which I was quite chuffed with. Been so busy since I got the Supe - trouble with working in London with 4 hours commuting each day! Plan to have a chat with some of you guys tomorrow at the Pod, I'm sure I will find it useful!

Is the cheapy gauge from Halfords good enough?

Brilliant I am still in two minds, it's a shame that this is the only way of getting a nicer wheel w/airbag. I see most people on here with aftermarket steering wheels don't bother with airbags. If I get a Isotta (sp?) wheel with no airbag, will I get an airbag light permanently illuminated on the dash? Also, will the passenger airbag be disabled too?

Cheers. Sounds very similar to when I did the same on my Audi, didn't take too long but the hardest job was getting everything lined up again afterwards!

Hi All I would like to be able to whip off my front bumper to have a fiddle and check out the state of my stock SMIC, however I have heard that bodykit bumpers are normally "bonded" to the car... not being totally sure what this means, can someone explain? I honestly don't know. If anyone can help, please shout! It's basically cracked and needs replacing. Haven't seen enough stock supe's to know what is OEM or not
