OK this is a bit of a repost from http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=109319 but I am trying to find out if this really does work on the supra. Have heard that people have problems replacing bulbs with LEDs. They don't draw enough current or something?

Hi All I plan to get some LED side repeaters to replace the orange bulbs on my facelift. Can I just use universal ones that take 12v or will this cause some sort of bulb malfunction light to come on and/or fast blinking? Basically I want something that will work plug and play. The sizing of them is not important, need to make new holes on the new bumper anyway. Cheers!

Mine was going to be a weekend toy, but I tend to drive it most evenings now if the weather is OK. It's so much fun! It will probably go in to hibernation for the winter though

Hi All If I got a e-manage ultimate installed and mapped, then went and replace the cams with HKS ones, would I need to re-map it again?

For what it's worth I got mine from http://autosportwiring.com/toyota.htm and the quality seems great. Fast and cheap delivery from the states too!

Reason I ask is that I now wonder if I even need my brand new wiring harness

Bearing in mind I already have an autosport wiring harness (not yet installed) what would I need to buy to be able to fit the EMU? Just pricing this up at the moment - realise I'd need an expert to map it too

Would either of those be suitable for going single as well? My plan is to go single one day, (when the stock turbos blow up), but if I can get a piggyback ECU on there in the meantime to increase power a little bit, I wouldn't want to have to rip it out when I do go single...

Hi All It seems everything to do with BPU etc is all about increasing the amount of boost provided by the turbos, to get more fuelling and performance. Question is, is there anything else worth doing to a BPU car to improve the power at the lower end of the rev range before the 2nd turbo kicks in? Only thing I can think of would be higher lift cams, is this worth doing? Anything else? 4k RPM seems so far away when you're racing an R34!!

Yeah I will get those ordered I think. I should be OK with that job, but will take my time to enjoy it. After that it's FCD time, as my autosport wiring harness arrived a few days ago.

Just fitted my new fuel pump today. First proper job on the supe - had been enjoying driving it but today thought I'd start doing all the little jobs I am saving up. Took me a couple of hours all in - the WORST part was getting the damn fuel line banjo bolt off without the whole assembly rotating around. In the end I had to hold the "body" of the banjo bolt with mole grips and twist in opposing directions. Nightmare it was. Anyway it's done now - car runs fine so I might have some something right. Can still smell fuel in the interior of the car, but there was quite a bit of spray so hoping that's all going to evaporate off overnight. next weekend - spark plugs!

Just got back from Japfest. Great time however caught the sun big time! Only in the last hour or so I was there with the wind and sun. All in all a good day. Met a few forum members, it's a shame however we didn't have a proper presence like the msoc guys. Didn't buy anything for the car, apart from a set of valve caps!

Finally watched the 2 episode finale last night. What a bloody let down! I just laughed when I saw that devil monster thing wandering around cardiff. Hardly a conclusive ending either. That show had promise after the first few episodes, but IMHO it got laughably worse.

Guys, Read Nick's post with interest this morning, and I've have started putting feelers out to see what's out there work wise. Not sure why I didn't think of this before to be honest but it's not too late to give it a go in my case. Will you let all know what happens! James
