It's time I give my Supra some love and attention. It's barely been touched for a couple of years now and I have just noticed MOSS growing where the spolier joins the boot Anyhow, I've ordered some new tyres and it's now insured - just need it looking it's best so I am after a recommended valeter/detailer in the wiltshire/swindon area who could come and sort it out of me. Please speak up if you have anyone to recommend!

My slave cylinder died at the weekend and I lost the clutch pedal. It's a TT6 with an RPS Street Max installed a couple of years ago. Last time I had the car mapped it was suggested that I get the slave cylinder replaced with one from an N/A supra as he noticed that the clutch wasn't fully disengaging making gear changes not as easy as they could be. Apparently the N/A slave cylinder has more travel on it. Just wanted to post this here to see if anyone has done this on their car and did it make a difference?

Wow, I knew I was being slightly cheeky but didn't expect that sort of slapdown. Thought my offer of help may have diffused any appapparent malice. Bad day at the office?

Do mods bother updating this any more? I've asked for mine to be updated twice since my 13.0660 run in 2008 but nothing. I am prepared to put my money where my mouth is and volunteer to keep the HoF up to date if no one else is!

Do you guys generally phone up each company for a quote or do you start off with a meerkat-style website and go from there? I have rung a couple of companies and it's a right pain having to go through the list of mods and everything just for them to say no, or give a high quote. £700 fully comp on the supra seems a bit high when I'm an old man now at 33!

Always a possibility of error I suppose, I had a crazy time on my first session at Supra Pod 2008 that literally took me 2 years to beat. I'd say take the victory and enjoy it

Hmm, ok! I'm sure lots of things "could fail" and kill the engine I take it you mean use distilled water then? As bottled (mineral) water would contain the same sort of impurities as tap water wouldn't it?

My goal is to be the fastest manual Supra with stock j-spec turbos. Who is up for the challenge?

As above really, I am getting my AEM kit mapped tomorrow so want to mix up 50/50 meth/water mix tonight. I am wondering if using tap water is OK or should I use distilled as it's going to burn off in the engine? James

That's sad to hear. Perhaps we could look at interested members going to a public day at Llandow so there's no issue about having to get a certain number to book the whole track.

Is Llandow "occuring" this year? I haven't been on here much but seen nothing and I even just made a search. I know turnout is always an issue but I'm always up for driving the Supra properly
