  1. Black with a lovely paint job - subtle blue/gold flicks in it, sadly some front end damage, hope you get it sorted out mate.
  2. Why are these so expensive? Picked up one in Japan with a load of other things and only noticed how much I paid when I got home... was something like 40 quid! For that price it better be adding a few more BHP

What about VLC guys? I'm not a Windows person but on the mac it plays anything I throw at it, and it apparently does run on Windows too.
  4. http://www.touchdev.net/wiki/Jailbreak_Guide Requires a bit of geekery and a Mac (for that guide) but there are Windows guides around I think. Once it's hacked you get this 'Installer' app which connects to the net, lists all the packages available for one-click install, it's pretty neat. Only problem is that each time it gets hacked, Apple are likely to release an update which breaks the exploit, in this case a buffer overflow in the TIFF library. Cat and mouse situation but these hackers are pretty talented.
  5. Doesnt suffer from lag like a lot of handhelds/phones... Nothing to do with pr0n
  6. Can't sleep so have been browsing the net for an hour on my iPod touch thing. Thought it would have driven me bananas now but it is just as good as being on a proper computer and its very fluid. Also hacked it today so it can use all the iphone apps and third party stuff. Wasnt going to get one until I saw one at the apple store and fell in love!
  7. When I was taking the spare wheel out of my first car (Hyundai Coupe), I found a tiny amount of weed wrapped up in a bit of tinfoil. It looked a bit off and must have been there for years!
  8. Plus that's worst advert I've ever seen.. he doesn't exactly sell it does he!
  9. I'm in IT - I do love IT and tech but I hate commuting and doing the 9-5 thing. Would love to have a career change one day but it's just not realistic is it
  10. Happy birthday mate! 31 eh, I feel young all of a sudden
  11. Hi Mate I need a 2nd cat - but I don't know if that's the long or the short one mate! Cheers James
  12. To be honest most of them are based off just a coupe of chipsets, so it's all much of a muchness. You start getting problems when the device you're connecting to uses very precise timing, my PIC programmer is like this - as the USB to serial convertors are generallty not "real" RS-232 ports. If you're on a laptop a good option would be a PCMCIA serial port...
  13. I've heard that american seconds aren't as good as british ones...
  14. Nice one There's a fair few of us around here nowadays. Getting my Supra back today so you may see me around.
  15. Bout 5pm today near great western road. Was in my Audi. Don't think I've seen you around, but that's quite a loud exhaust
  16. Not selling this then? Was my offer really that insulting?

  18. I'm a Mac man myself but yes that should be what Vid can do for you.
  19. For windows: http://www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod-touch/ For Mac: http://www.isquint.org/
  20. Panelcraft in Swindon, they seem like a top notch outfit but let's see what they come out with when I get the car back. Just spoken to them and the car is being done as we speak so will be done for tonight or tomorrow night Really looking forward to having her back in one piece as this accident happened in MAY and it's dragged on for so long.
  21. That's cool, yes they said it only needed one more day of work but their painter called in sick on friday. Gutted but not much I can do. Most people I talk to say that paint needs a couple of days to dry completely, but the body shop says it will be baked in the oven for 45 minutes at gas mark 6 or whatever and will be fine the same day... so not sure who to believe
  22. Sadly in the end it wasn't ready, so I wasn't able to join you guys on the stand but I had a look round, amazing turnout from the Supras!

    SMIC Help

What Chris didn't say (in his original post) was that, traditionally when you are describing left/and right hand sides of cars then it's *always* assumed you are speaking from the perspective of being behind the wheel, looking forward towards the engine. So when something's on the right hand side of the engine, it's really on the left as you look at the engine from the front. I'm pretty sure that's the case anyway but please shoot me down if I am wrong guys EDIT: Cheers CW
