  1. I am trying to find an OEM carpet in black for a facelift j spec. Needs to be in good condition ie no stains or tears in visible places. Now too worried about hidden bits under seats / mats.

  3. Can't believe this is still for sale. I have the same system and it is lovely. As you say quiet but not restricting. Perfect for noise sensitive tracks / neighbours! Good luck with the sale.
  4. Yep and bottom end plus valve stem seals sorted by Paul Whiffin last year too. She is running lovely since then. Sadly did probably under 500 miles last year which is not sustainable, either need to use it more or sell up. Watch this space!
  5. Wow, this is a real eye opener. My poor supra is not used as much as it should be and had no idea prices had gone up as much as this. might sort a few niggles out and get it advertised!
  6. I am after the main control brain for the above. Thanks!
  7. I wonder if I were to upgrade the brain to say a clifford 650 then it will be plug and play with the other components? All my sensors and stuff are OK it's just the brain that's dead. There is a local authourised clifford guy near me so I will probably give him a call on Monday.
  8. Fair point mate. I guess at the end of the day if I can unlock the car from a fob I will be happy!
  9. I have a Clifford Concept 300 fitted to the car since when I obtained it. It's been fine right up until a couple of weeks ago when it started acting up. It's now totally unresponsive and I believe the central control unit / brain is dead. If it turns out I need to completely replace the alarm, what do people recommend these days? I am guessing there are lots of newer features to look out for such as smartphone control / altering. May even look at fitting it myself since the hard work (finding all the wires to hook into) has already been done!
  10. Top Secret front end as far as I know. And to answer your question, well, I don't know. I do plan to go for a medium sized single turbo one day (when the stock twins blow up) so having an FMIC already in place would be a bonus - unless the whifbitz smic can cope with 600 horses?
  11. Yup, already have an AEM system installed. Guessing it can't do very much if the IAT is so high.
  12. Thanks, yes that's fairly awesome! When I talk to Whifbitz about my FMIC I will definitely get them to approach the job with proper airflow in mind. I can't even begin to image IATs of 25 degrees. My engine would love me forever.
  13. Can you elaborate? You mean to the air intake or to the intercooler?
  14. Last year I had the car dynoed at Horsham Developments on one of their open days - dragged along by a friend who's been there before. Due to it being a rather warm day and there not being enough airflow in the dyno cell, I only saw 370 bph at the flywheel - which is silly compared to the 440 bhp proven at Surrey Rolling Road when Ryan G mapped it. I believe this was down to the crazy IAT on the day - I saw 70 degrees on the PowerFC! So, one obvious way to address this is with a full FMIC set up. Are there any other ways? I was hoping my methanol injection system would have helped a little more than it has, but to be honest it only allowed ryan to squeeze an extra 15bhp out. What about a new inlet manifold that retains less heat?
  15. Pushing the boat out with a £5 wash!
  16. I believe so - the only things that wouldn't come are anti squeal shims and spacers, but then my current set up didn't seem to have those anyway - using performance friction pads.
  17. Thanks mate, he's sorted me out - sadly not for this week but it was a very good price.
  18. Just went to take a look at my brakes and due to the condition of my front calipers I'd like to replace them. Does anyone know of any UK stock I can get ideally this week? Tried whifbitz so far but they are on back order from Mr T. Cheers:)
  19. Cheers, and yes I was tempted a couple of times but my wife won't let me sell
  20. I've had my Supra since 2007 ish - but for the last few years life has been getting in the way somewhat and I've hardly been able to use it. Probably done less than 500 miles / year since 2010. Most of my money has been going on learning to fly and that I can now say is DONE... which means I have to make difficult choices when it comes to good weather. In the past I've done a few track days (Loved Llandow) and Supra Pods but nothing very recently. Just signed back in to register for the Curbourough track meet in a couple of weeks and hope to be a little more active on the forum going forward. See a lot of new usernames around here! For those who don't know my car, an action shot at castle combe is attached.
  21. I've had erratic idling in the past with this car but usually a tap of the throttle pedal sorts it out. Tonight however it seems a lot worse, both when the engine is cold and warm. Today I found that turning the A/C off seems to solve the issue, the car idles normally at around 900 rpm. As soon as I switch the a/c back on again and tap the throttle, I get an erratic hunting from 1000 rpm or so almost down the stall. Turning A/C off again returns to a normal idle. This leads me to suspect something more than a dirty IACV (which I've cleaned in the past). Anyone got any ideas? Running PowerFC rather than standard ECU if it makes a difference.
