  1. Have you seen a UK direct debit mandate? It doesn't involve speaking to the bank at all. DoB for Clarkson would have been easy to find as well.
  2. No problem. Well, that was fast, they are now gone folks.
  3. Got your PM mate do you need the discs and pads too? As you only mentioned the calipers in the PM
  4. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7174760.stm
  5. As above, Want some bigger injectors that will drop in to my j-spec TT. I don't want a new fuel rail or a resistor back please, so side entry and hi imp? What have you got. Cheers!
  6. Deffo stick me down. Apexi PowerFC on my 1996 TT6 mapped by RyanG with stock TTC , 10/10
  7. As above. Not sure how useful these will be but I have rear j-spec brakes going spare. Discs and calipers with pads. They work fine, I just upgraded to UKs at the rear that's all. Free to collector or if you really need them delivered we might be able to sort something out!
  8. Excellent, I'll give that a go. Calibration was my main worry but 1cm or so isn't going to break the bank is it. Cheers
  9. That's the best explanation of the sequential system I've seen, thanks! Would be interesting to see what Ryan says though, once both turbos are on-line there should be no difference. Obviously, in my case the difference in the peak power is because they were running slightly different maps but there must be a reason for that.
  10. I've been asked how it's connected, so I will say the FCD is soldered in properly with heatshrink around the joints, it's not a bullet connector job
  11. My EGT sensor has been unreliable since it was installed, and I think the problem is at the yellow plug in the cabin, since when I bend it over itself the problem goes away. I therefore suspect a loose or otherwise dodgy connection in the yellow plug (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Thermocouple0003.jpg for what I am talking about) Can this be snipped off, stripped and re-wired like a normal wire without screwing things up?
  12. Where should the RR go - further end of the first de-cat or in the second de-cat? Also, given that with no back-box I'll have even less restriction than most, do you think a 1.0 bar RR will be adequate? Ideally I would like to have the RR restrict to 1.0 bar with the boost controller turned off, then raise the boost to 1.1 or 1.2 with the boost controller when I want a bit more fun, unless you tell me this isn't the best idea for whatever reason.
  13. Oh, I get you. In that case, rwhp is 331 point something. When toyota quote stock j-specs at 326 is that at the fly? I hope so Ryan I am going to see CW about a first de-cat. Do you think the exhaust will become *MUCH* louder? You've seen my setup! If it's a little louder, that's OK - I just don't want to be pulled over as soon as I get on to the public road... James
  14. Not sure - can that be calculated from my graph? Since they are measuring the rear wheels anyway and presumably extrapolating the flywheel power. /me waits for an expert EDIT: I know it's not going to be as fast as yours until I fully de-cat so around 320-330 or something?
  15. Turn your speakers on http://s178.photobucket.com/albums/w279/cheekysupra/?action=view&current=run.flv
  16. Mine was 650 I think, well it was 950 with the mapping! So lots of money (if you can find one) but I plan to keep mine until I eventually go Single anyway, so it's not money down the crapper. I do plan however to get the most out of my stock tubbies, as much as I can!
  17. I was about to say, Ryan will be along shortly to comment! Thanks for you work today mate, proper job. Will be back when I am fully de-catted and we can really let the beast roar
  18. I can tell you, not only does it look smooth but it drives smooth too. It does seem easier to pull away and it's just like driving a NA until you *really* want to boot it. Also - the car sounds more aggressive at lower revs, I really have no idea why that is but I like it!
  19. TTC - True Twin Conversion http://www.internetwork.org.uk/ttc/ttc.htm
  20. Hi Guys I no longer my need my ecu wiring harness (cost me £150) and it has a TRL FCD already wired in, they are worth £50 too. AFAIK it's will work in any non VVTi TT Supra. James EDIT, This is getting confusing so will place new ad for FCD only
  21. Thanks guys, I need to wait until its light and try and work out exactly where it's coming from.
  22. Had a great day today at SRR, thanks to Charlie and Ryan.G Ryan fitted my new Apexi PowerFC ECU and we got onto the rolling road. Did several runs while Ryan worked his magic. Decided to go TTC to see what difference it makes to the power curve and we got Charlie to do a printout of both at the same time (see attached). I really do like the way the car drives now, as you can see the power delivery is much smoother, and more like what it will be like once I eventually do go single. The green lines are Seq and the red line is TTC where I get my max power. This is all running at 1.0 bar with the stock j-spec twins.... so bring on 1st decat pipe EDIT: Please bear in mind, as Ryan mentiones later on in the thread that is NOT comparing Seq vs TTC on a stock ECU *grin*
  23. LSD, thank feck. Else I'd be having even sterner words with the garage
  24. Having a 275 on one side and a 235 on the other makes for an interesting drive!
