  1. Oh that look makes me go all a-flutter
  2. I think it's just a rubber bit isn't it? Mine certainly doesn't have a metal bit, but I do have an aftermarket bumper if that makes a difference. Anyway Keron has the rubber bonnet strip for sale, see his thread in For Sale
  3. Throttle body is OK but which bit is the Plenum or is that a fancy word for manifold?
  4. Are mine multispoke? Aren't all wheels? *confused*
  5. I am going to tackle this one myself - I enjoy working at the top end of the engine! Does the whole inlet manifold have to come right off for this job? I will be leaving the stock fuel rail in place. Will I need to replace any gaskets, or are there any other jobs worth doing when I'm down there?
  6. Yeah, that - pointing out that it's now an intentional typing error, not an error my self. Teach me to try and be l33t!
  7. Gaah, confused! Are the metal conductors within the sheathed cable supposed to be touching inside the sheath? That doesn't seem to make sense to me. It's hard to see without much light, but I've basically cut the end off. I can't now see how to strip the metal sheath down. Doh!
  8. What would be the "proper" position for this sort of work? I don't think I've ever actually used axle stands on the axles themselves, but rather on the chassis where you'd put a jack. Yep OK you were right hehe
  9. Sounds good, paypal is fine! Will PM you my addy.
  10. Haha! I still have mine hanging up in the garage. Yeah, the cover is a pain. Make sure you check it after a few miles as well, mine had a small leak and had to tighten it up a bit.

    Hey Guys!

Welcome! Current owner or looking to get one?
  12. Well I don't know about Ryan but it gives me something to dream about tonight.... bring on my own fearsome beast
  13. SOLD As above. TRL is one of the good quality ones, it doesn't just attenuate the map signal to the ECU but limits it. £40 delivered to the UK.
  14. I have some ramps... great for the Audi but I'd have to remove the front bumper to get the Supra up the ramps. Last time I did that I nearly broke it!
  15. Why not? You're still applying force in the wrong direction - axle stands hold things UP.
  16. Update, now split - FCD is now available on it's own for £40 and the harness is gone.
  17. Did I say lift off? Think sideways force... if the front of the car is on axle stands it may not take much force to topple it.
  18. It might not be difficult but if you're trying to wrench off rather rusted bolts from underneath the car, you'll be applying force in the wrong direction and there's a real chance it could all go wrong and crush you.
  19. If whatever your job is can be done on a self-employed basis, then go for it
  20. Fair point chaps, I will probably leave that for the man himself to do as he needs to check my Geo anyway... I'm just impatient, that's all
  21. Erm could do it while the engine is turned off?
  22. How much are your 1st de-cat pipes, and would I be able to fit it without ramps if I can't wait 2 weeks *grin*
  23. I've seen DD forms on the Web where you just have to type your own name to confirm your identity
