  3. Do I need both the seals and insulators for an injector change? I am not touching the fuel rail it's staying stock. Are they standard sizes and were could I get them?

  6. Have heard about these auctions. Apparently you get an ebook which gives you weird positive thinking / mind over matter type techniques that you can use to "blend into the background", lol.

  9. Well that's in the right sort of range as long as it's above 425 or so, haha. But yes we shall see. Nice cold day, brand new SMIC, 1.2 bar and a nice map, we'll be laughing In an ideal world 20% more boost (1.0 bar to 1.2) would get me 20% more power (400 to 480 :D ) but I guess there's some annoying law of physics getting in the way here...
  10. You can bet I will do, just a matter of time. I was looking at the single parts list spreadsheet and smiling as I ticked off about £4k of parts that I either already have or are on the way. My plan is to get much out of these stock turbos as possible using parts that would eventually let me go single. I would be very happy with 450hp at the fly and I reckon that's feasible, and hell, only 100hp less than some respectable singles.

  12. Thanks for the explanation - will see what I get in March at the 'pod. Will certainly be in the 12's but there's a big difference between 12.9 and 12.0
  13. ALl BPU is basically 1.2 bar of boost. The rest of the mods are there to support it. So you could upgrade your fuel pump next, get some gauges fitted (definately boost), stick on a new exhaust etc. The final step would be the second de-cat and RR.

  16. Once I have removed the 1st cat I will certainly want to get a dyno reading again at some point. If it's not too much of a pain I'd be happy to pay for a little more dyno time, and if Ryan is happy to fiddle around for a bit we could probably do that comparison in the interest of science

  20. Hello Tuners On Ryan.G's advice I am going to remove the first cat and I've just bought some 650cc injectors because of the high fueling requirements of my set up (87% duty at 1.0 bar). Will I be in FPR territory at 1.2 bar, or pulsation damper bypass? I already have a Walbro 255 in the tank but apart from that it's stock fuel system. Cheers
