  1. I am trying to be extra careful by having some confidence that any garage I go to are going to do it properly. I'd actually trust a lot of guys on this forum a lot more than most garages around here when it comes to supra specific info - who wouldn't?
  2. Hi Chris Do you recall what sort of setup you gave my car? Still need to visit you shortly to get it checked I think
  3. Totally agreed, that's kind of why I'm asking. Re-read my original post
  4. Actually it's a bare wire with a plastic tube to hold it up. I just wrapped the wire around the rear spoiler though when it's in the living room, looks better when the range isn't needed.
  5. Cheers - is that two lines though? Not totally sure what I am looking at. The kit I am getting can only lock one line I think! It's a hurst kit...
  6. It's quite basic, you can't swap anything else on it apart from the wheels. I also love the blue, if my car wasn't gunmetal I'd be tempted *grin* With the grip tyres on, outside, it's actually quite damn fast! Had a bit of fun as well mounting a small spy camera to the roof (one that you tune the TV in to) and driving it around while sat on the sofa. Chasing the dog
  7. OK, extremely crap mobile phone vid here - will try to get a better one with my mates soon: http://s178.photobucket.com:80/albums/w279/cheekysupra/Misc%20Stuff/?action=view&current=Video_122807_002.flv
  8. It was a xmas pressie from one of my friends, they actually got it from a random corner shop in Swindon, believe it or not. It's not up to full drifting, the controls are binary, so you basically have "forward, backward, fast forward" and "left, right" but nothing in between. Great fun as a toy on the living room floor though. Only 2wd drive, rear of course! Trying to find it on http://www.nikko-rc.com/ but I can't! It's not the Fnf or Mayhem models but they should be fun
  9. I am not sure about the spinners though... It comes with a set of grip and a set of drift tyres though - great fun!
  10. Ergh well I feel like crap but on the plus side I've just given work their notice, so in a month, no more london for me
  11. 385 delivered from our very own Nic. Although I did order a lot of other stuff at the same time so you'd have to check if the same price applies. Cheers James
  12. Could anyone in the know tell me how I would identify the brake line needed to cut into for installation of a line lock solenoid? I belive it's only able to switch one line, so this line would have to be the master cylinder for the front brakes only, if that makes sense. Not sure about braking systems so I probably won't be doing this myself, but I want to go to a garage armed with the right info
  13. My new facelift headlights look absolutely mint, better than glass IMO.
  14. Hmmm yeah that's definately the case, and not just in my imagination, either
  15. That might be an option. Other option is to get the hell out of London as soon as I possibly can
  16. Argh. I had a cold in November, then one a couple of weeks before xmas. Literally in the last hour I am have gone from feeling 100% fine to a slight head ache and that nasal feeling that means you've got one coming on! I blame the gym, and traveling to and within London on the train. I never used to get more than one a year
  17. Will take this off your hands mate - dibbs! Will send PM.
  18. I think I am going to do something similar. May mount a couple of modules in the centre bit, and extend the "headphones" serial link to talk to the main module under the dash. Actually I am having a problem at the moment and it's really hard to diagnose. My EGT module is very intermittent - is all your stuff working OK or haven't you bought it yet?
  19. Hey guys, PLX stuff is good, am running it now. However you need to have a nice area to stick the mass of red boxes and cables. The DM-100 module and connectors on each side, and I don't know how to make it very neat as yet. Am thinking under the stereo but it's going to be a tight sqeeze - I have DM-100, AFR, EGT and Fluid temp modules.
  20. I'm at home, taking an unpaid day off. Sat here with 6 lovely new injectors for the car, which I can't fit because it's chucking it down and has been all day
  21. This friend CANNOT be for real - both the start and the twist!
  22. Just saw this one Sounds like you've have even worse experiences here than me
  23. Perhaps that's the problem - spending too much time behind the wheel or at work and not enough time meeting people Hmm what's a guy to do!
