  1. Go on see if you can guess how much I bid Gaz
  2. Awww it's just down the road from me too!
  3. Think of those air intake temps though!
  4. Do you have a twin turbo? The fuel pump is in the tank. Where did he tell you to bang down on? Fuel pumps are about £70 for an uprated one if i remember correctly and take about an hour to fit. I have a used stock one going spare if you're stuck though - assuming that's the part u need
  5. I like the unlabeled switches with the neon lamps. If you don't know what they do, you're in the wrong seat
  6. As per this thread http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=1795571&postcount=6 Need something within a couple of weeks, cheers guys!
  7. Oh man, this is unbelievable! I saw this within minutes, and think, OK I have 2 days... and now it's gone! 2nd dibbs then. One day I will have RLTC
  8. OK cheers Nic I will await some UK guys
  9. The only issue is that I need it arrived and fitted by the 6th March, is that possible from HK?
  10. It's time to quieten down my Supra Anyone who's heard it knows it's unique (2nd decat only, NO BACK BOX ) but I want something more suited for track and touring, what have you got?
  11. Yes I'm on the original j-specs, they've done about 60k miles I think. If they do blow I'm not fussed as long as they don't take the engine out with them - is that likely? PS attached pics now of the oil, it's more than a fine mist!
  12. Hey chaps I have isolated the fault to the bulb itself, swapped the ballasts and the problem remains. I then swapped the bulbs to make sure it wasn't the car's loom but the problem definitely followed the bulb. Couple of pics attached - can I get the bulbs separately? I don't want to get a whole new kit as the ballasts are fine.
  13. cheers guys that has put my mind at rest slightly! So how does the oil know to use the catch can instead of coating the insides of everything?
  14. I was replacing the top intake hose yesterday, to get rid of the stupid blue fake-samco ebay thing I fitted about 6 months ago. This pipe was fairly slick with oil on the inside, it felt sticky but not liquid. The pipe was brand new 6 months ago so I know it's come from the last 6 months of driving, 3000 miles max. Is this normal for a 13 year old car, or am I playing the waiting game now until I'm forced to go single / rebuild my engine?
  15. Saw a red supra, possibly with graphics, and a black carbon spoiler. Not seen that one before, are you local?
  16. You're probably right mate, lol. Perhaps I should sell it and buy something really crap then the supra will feel great Clutch was just done by CW, hey maybe it's still bedding in...
  17. Cool cheers, might give that a go and rub some butter on it too or something
  18. Quality, but also note that's also nothing to do with Google, someone's just made a page that looks like it. Very cool
  19. So do I need to release some slack at the engine end, or need a new cable?
  20. OK, this might be me just being crap at controlling my car, or too spoiled by my drive-by-wire Audi, but I seem to be having real problems pulling away smoothly at the moment. It seems like my throttle pedal is "lumpy", In the audi a gentle press will bring the revs up, but in the Supra it's almost an all-or-nothing type thing. Example - Pulling away, I'll be in first with the clutch down. The revs dip as the clutch comes up, so I compensate as normal with some throttle, but I end up with either not enough, or too much and I end up sounding like a tit. I just don't seem to get the feather light control that I am used to. I've noticed that I have a bit of slack in the throttle cable when the pedal isn't being pressed, so presumably there's a few mm of movement before I'm doing anything at all, is that normal? Do throttle cables need greasing up or anything? Or do I just need to bloody learn to drive
  21. Wow, no words really. Reading a lot of the posts and came across this article where the actual forum is mentioned in the news, but in a very good light. http://www.ocala.com/article/20080127/BREAKING_NEWS/274162577/1053/BREAKING_NEWS
  22. Hey mate did you need a pic of a facelift manual dash? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=69596&d=1200606430 Can do a better / closer pic if you like?
  23. Ah ha! I knew Michael wasn't a real person
