  1. I am checking on the EPC and it looks like it's different pre- and post-facelift, but not for VVTi. How are they different? EDIT: It's actually the same part number pre- and post-facelift too, my mistake!
  2. Arse it - I folded a gasket while trying to get the plenum back on to the manifold. Anyone have one to hand? If not it's a few days wait for Mr T! Part No 17176-46030 Cheers
  3. OK, cheers, I thought I was pretty clear with my original question but hey
  4. I thought these little o-rings at the back aren't even in the fuel path? They just butt up against the retainers to stop vibration?
  5. Well, I've ordered one as I needed an exhaust quickly. I have an EGT gauge and a boost controller, so I can report my findings once it's fitted.
  6. I just got a quote for the little insulators - indeed they cost pence - 522 pence EACH. That's over £30 for a set of 6 tiny rubber grommets. What are Toyota playing at
  7. OK, Sean that's seems like a fair comment - I will get Ryan to talk me through trimming the fuel map before I start it for the 1st time to be safe
  8. Bear in mind we're talking about the RX here which is not the same, the R has a removable bung. Maybe you left the bung in?
  9. Yep I do. Hence me wanting to get rid of my 1st cat ASAP
  10. Do you reckon running one of these with a EBC to raise boost to 1.2 bar cause excessive EGTs? I would think it's OK due to the restriction being quite far back...
  11. The RX has no removable bung so I am guessing it's almost like a built in bung hence the drop in boost
  12. Just to make sure the car starts it should be OK surely?

  14. It's proving hard to find the Tanabe in the UK and I can't wait 3 weeks to get it ordered So I'm looking at the Nur Spec RX. Apparently, it's a little restrictive but would this be a problem on a double de-cat with a boost controller? It's got to be better than my 1st cat hasn't it!
  15. I haven't yet but I'll give them a ring. Ideally I want one that already in the UK, so there's no risk of delays. I figure there's got to be one, somewhere
  16. I want one that's already in the UK or can be sent within 2 weeks. Getting desparate now
  17. I am going from 440's to 650's on my TT with the PowerFC. Once I have put everything back together is it safe to start the car, just to see if it fires up? I know I have to phone Ryan so he can talk me through setting up the fueling so it's safe to drive (off boost) until he can map it. I'd rather be confident that at least the car starts before I call him though.
  18. Excellent, however when I see pictures of systems like the one below it looks like it is a lot longer than that: http://www.envyperformance.com/product/put_pics/pic.cfm?pic=4270
  19. I get a bit confused about cat-back systems. Is this generally from the 1st, or 2nd cat on a Supra? I already have a 2nd de-cat on my custom exhaust system, so would only need something from the 2nd cat back. How much of my current system would I have to ditch with a new exhaust?
  20. I have a spare j-spec stock fuel pump, but I have a feeling there may be a difference between this and the UK specs, anyway, let me know if you want it, but for the sake of a few quid it might be worth buying a new one for peice of mind
  21. OK now my house STINKS of carb cleaner and I'm flying high!!!
  22. TR do you remember which injectors they were?
  23. About to fit my new injectors but I'm missing the o-rings that sit at the back - circled on the originals. Do I have to get new ones or can I re-use the originals? I might have lost a couple of them you see... Anyone have stock?
  24. Attempting the injectors this evening, managed a couple of hours before it got too dark. The fun bit will be putting it all back together again tomorrow!
