  1. As the vet tactfully puts it, he's "a little overweight" at 6.3kg but it's all fur and bone,
  2. I felt it - it woke me up, in Swindon. None of my friends felt it though! Thought the cat had got into my room and was shaking the bed around
  3. You might be able to test by doing dir *[?]*.jpg which will list the matching files. EDIT tested, and yes JustGav's method is fine
  4. Cheers guys I know what to ask for now
  5. Hey Guys, what is the circled thing in the first picture called? I need to get a new one for the other side, it's popped out and vanished, and the arm keeps falling out and hitting me on the head, doh!
  6. Can't really comment on exactly what you need to replace, are you doing to do it yourself? Chris Wilson did mine, and while he was there, he did the flywheel, seals, and the crank damper pulley thing as it wasn't in great condition.
  7. Yeah - it's quite hard to do - in 4 years of contracting this is my first break. I had a job lined up for last Monday after finishing in London on Friday, but there are delays... security clearance! Enjoying the time off though - getting so much done
  8. Hehe... I think that's every contractors initial plan - work for 3 months, have three months off. In reality however it's VERY hard to refuse £400 a day or whatever on a plate when the place you're at wants you to stay
  9. There's a silver Supra I see most mornings at around 5am and I always wave. I just do it now to confuse the guy - as I am invariably in the Audi at that time
  10. For all you IT guys who are bored shiteless (like I was) - start contracting! New job every 6 months if you want, and you get to look down on them permie types.. and earn more money as a bonus.
  11. Just went for a drive to drop the car off at Interpro and the noise disappeared, presumably after everything got re-pressurized again, so I will keep an ear out for it in the future. Cheers for your advice chaps
  12. Yes Ryan.G did some magic with hoses to enable TTC. I might actually get him to revert it back to stock next time I see him, I presume that will also fix the problem
  13. I was about to go on a journey today, however started the car and noticed a rattle coming from the turbo area on idle - it goes when I apply throttle but comes back again on idle. It seems to be coming from the area quite close to the bulkhead, so the opposite of the area in this thread: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=21412 I do have hose TTC mod and have not boosted the car for some time as I have set my rev limit to 3k until I can get the bigger injectors mapped. Is this likely to be the same problem or are my turbo's on the way out? They've only done 60k miles or so. (mainly at stock pressure)
  14. Mate I will still buy it - I have had motorbike training all weekend but I got your message last night. I am now free all week (self unemployed ) so I can come to collect it whenever you want...
  15. Yes and people wonder why I have no social life
  16. Gone will be my 4+ hours of commuting every day, I will finally be able to dedicate more time to the Supra Have been working here for 3 years and finally had enough. I don't ever want to get on a tube train again in my life! PS Anyone in Swindon need a netbackup administrator?
  17. FYI Jezz doesn't have any, I too want one
  18. Gaz, can I see how yours is plumbed in? I am 99% sure I know where I am going to put it, Fish has kindly sent me some pics but it would be great to see someone else's too. I have ABS on a facelift.
  19. Yeah took my test in it too - the examiner didn't know what to think
  20. Welcome to the club, and good luck. I do think it would be a good idea to hold off on a Supra until you have at least a couple of years NCB, then you'd enjoy it more My first car was a Hyundai Coupe, yes some may laugh but it looked pretty good at the time and is better than a little metro or something I got the 1.6 and insurance was just under a grand. EDIT awww found a pic of her now I am nostalgic
  21. Tonight I'm going to be stripping.... stripping down my motorbike to learn how to service it
  22. I hope you get it OK mate, I can imagine the chap might have been expecting more money and might try to stitch you up?
  23. Haha!! Nice one! When are you getting picking it up? You're nuts
  24. Quite possibly! I *am* very impressionable!
  25. Oh yeah! Wanna buy it? Long story short: I have no interest in bikes, but find this Harley at bargain basement price to sell on in the summer and make a couple of grand profit, Brother takes me out for a bike lesson, I get the bug and decide I actually do want a bike, but probably not a 9 grand Harley
