  1. FWD drifting? That's just wrong!
  2. Tried to go down this road before, there's never enough people who want one at the same time as myself
  3. Happy birthday. Turned 30 this year myself and one of best cards I got told me I was still 18 but with 12 years experience
  4. Hey all Going to drop my Supra off at ToyotaGT for a few weeks over the winter so they can do a few bits and I'd also like to get an FMIC fitted as my air intake temps are always a bit OTT. Running stock j-specs at the moment, at 1.2 bar, but would like something that can support a small single too in the future perhaps. Don't need a big name brand but don't want ebay tat either - what should I go for?
  5. Mine does this, thought it was pretty normal...
  6. Lol, beat me to it. Can't believe these are still for sale - I'd be all over these if I was just BPU at the moment
  7. I have a mini-DV camcorder already, but it's due an upgrade if I can find something suitable. Basically I want something that's mini-DV again, but has a wide® angle lens so when I stick it to my front windscreen I see more of the track. Does such a thing exist? I don't really care about HD unless that gives me a wider angle - but I would imagine it would be the optics rather than the format. Any experts on here?
  8. Methinks I've found something to do at work today

  11. Good to hear mate! Must be something in the air
  12. Since I've decided to stick with the stock J-spec turbo system for now, my winter project will revolve around getting my Intake temps down. (As well as sorting a few bodywork bits.) Of course a good FMIC will help but is there anything else I should be looking at? Will blanketting / lagging some of the pipes help? I was battling with 75 degree C intake temps at the drag strip 2 weekends ago and it's getting depressing now!
  13. My current phone of choice is a Nokia 6220 Classic. It's really nice, my only complaint is that it feels a little more plasticy than other phones I've had but it's a great camera and it's the fully fledged Symbian OS if that floats your boat.
  14. Seconded, I was in the same boat and even posted on here about it. I did actually get knocked back a couple of times but backed off for a few weeks and we've ended up together. No regrets
  15. OK - will have to live with it then, not a problem as I know it's not anything damaged as such. Out of interest how come it only affects reverse/1st and normal gear changes are unaffected?
  16. Thanks to the guys who helped me push the supra backwards on Saturday at Llandow as it would NOT go into reverse It seems to happen after hard driving so must be down to heat or something. I had this problem to a lesser degree a few months ago, and collapsing pressure plates was suggested, but now I'm on a new clutch (RPS Street Max) and it's still doing it. Once I got home and the car was a normal temps again it was fine! What could it be?
  17. Hey All Just a quick heads up - am considering selling these on again, they were going to be my winter project however I am re-thinking the whole drag racing thing Drop me a PM if you'd like to express interest! James
  18. Been in a similar situation myself very recently, although not 7 years, more like 1 year. I managed to stuff things up a number of times by trying to push her too quickly making her decide things, but in the end I just chilled out, knowing that she knows how I feel, and she's finally sorted her head out and now we're together My advice is to cool it for a few days and don't sweat it too much. She isn't going to suddenley cut you out of her life after 7 years but I think you do need to make sure she knows how you feel mate. Good luck!
  19. Well I got 6 sessions and was really happy with the car's performance. Was such a good day, thanks to Steve for organising this. Definately has to be done again. Only slight downer is that I recorded 4 sessions worth of my lens cap! What a prat I am
  20. I actually have a set of CW race pads that I haven't fitted yet as I still have about 5mm left on the CW fast road ones. So I may take the new pads along with me JIC
