  1. Hey All I need to replace a pipe on my compressor, that got broken. In the picture it's the right hand pipe - you can see it broke off just below the "cuff" type thing. I ordered a replacement, but I can't get it to fit - it's come with an "olive" but this looks completely different to what was on there before. It seems to be too big and doesn't allow the large gold nut to clear the pipe and mate to the connection that it's supposed to go on. Is anyone familiar with this sort of thing? Am I missing something?
  2. Strangely enough, no - the accident happened in May 07, so these calls all started after the 2 years is up!
  3. I had a small accident in my Supra 2 years ago which resulted in a 50/50 claim. Now in the last week I've have three separate calls from ambulance chasing companies wanting to make sure that I've claimed everything I possibly can from it! Is there some sort of register of accidents these people are trawling? I was polite but firm with the first one that it was all done and dusted but they were very persistent. I just hung up on the last one. Anyone else having this happen? Odd that it's just started out of the blue after 2 years!
  4. They look the business! Where'd you get them from, and what's the width on them? I have UK rear brakes though.. hehe
  5. Yep that's kinda what I thought. So what would be better on the track - going thinner on the rear or keeping what I have?
  6. Hi All I know a lot you advocate stock wheels on the supra. I'm thinking of getting a set for track and/or drag use, and wondered what the advantages are? My 18s are 275mm wide on the back, does this give an advantage on drag strip / normal driving / or what? I always thought wider tyres = better grip but I guess this is not always the case. James
  7. So.... how come you're building a GTS and not a Supra then?
  8. I was doing about 51s per lap by the end. I assume using a stopwatch on youtube 2 days after the fact doesn't count as timing
  9. Up for both of course - as long as next year's isn't in May!
  10. Just uploaded a 5 min vid of me behind JamieP. Unfortunately a lot of the action probaby happens out of my field of vision but you get the idea.
  11. Home now! Personally had a great time with no spills. Someone in a BMW hit the sidewall but no drama really apart from that. Weather was good, dry for the most part and not too hot for cooler intake temps. Saw the blue Ultima on the hard shoulder after the Severn bridge on the way back so hopefully everything is ok there! I think it was adnanshah? Will have a look at my video footage later - I was chasing JamieP for a few laps while he was trying his best to destroy a set of perfectly good tyres! Million thanks to SteveR for organising it. Will be there next year!
  12. Woohoo, my Supra is Happy as larry and coming to the track. Poor Audi gets to stay at home again
  13. Can you drag them to the phone manually?
  14. Nokia would like to officially welcome you to 1999.
  15. Just planning ahead here - is it OK if I have to use my Audi on the day instead of the Supra? Fingers crossed the Supra will be OK but had to take it back to the garage lsat night as it's missfiring on boost My Audi is a 220bhp A6 so not exactly supra fast but might be able to keep up with an NA
  16. Do you think the amount of Single-T supe's are putting people off?
  17. Whoops - missed out the link that I was going to paste in. It's for a nifty little program called BluePhoneElite. Basically allows me to keep my Nokia in my pocket and have calls and texts come through to my desktop. It's done really well and has to be seen to be appreciated. Unfortunately the more advanced features rely on a helper app that runs on Symbian, and looks like it won't be around on the iPhone any time soon. http://mirasoftware.com/BPE2/ It's so much easier to quickly respond to a text on the computer when I'm on the laptop all day anyway for work. I'm really happy with my iPod Touch anyway - the icing on the cake will be if I could bluetooth the iPod to my Nokia to establish an internet connection for Safari on the move. This is close but not possible yet
  18. I'd love an iPhone but until it integrates with my MacBook Pro as well as the Nokia I have currently it just won't happen. Until then it's iPod Touch for me where I get 90% of the functionality anyway.
  19. Seconded, I run 2 xboxes and have just built two for friends (soft-modded) They were 27 quid all-in from ebay, including the all-so-important optional DVD remote.
  20. I'm really surprised about this. I can't imagine why we aren't even getting everyone from last year back? It's was an awesome day. Maybe it's the credit crunch and next year things will be brighter.
  21. Ah so it was the tyres all along *grin*
