  1. Nice result Chris but I can't imagine you with a haircut!
  2. Make sure to also read The God Delusion too for a bit of balance
  3. Probably ebaying it tonight so it finishes on sunday
  4. Selling my "sofa" surfer that I've owned since december last year. It's a lovely little machine but I'm trying to raise some money and consolidate hardware a little. It's the most powerful 12" laptop that you can get from Apple at 1.5Ghz (powerpc) with 1.25Gb RAM and 120Gb HDD. It's one of the latest generation machines before the move to Intel, and has Wifi, Bluetooth and the two finger scrolling on the track pad. It is running OS X 10.5 (Leopard). Screen is in good condition, no dead pixels. Battery is brand new and it comes with a NeoCase that fits snugly around the laptop when it's in use and doubles as a carry case. It beats the crap of all these new fangled netbooks as it's running a proper OS! Giving you guys a chance to buy it before I stick it on eBay. It cost me £340 last year and I'm looking for £250 now.
  5. Not first direct. I often get Indians calling me with fraud checks when I use my FD credit card. Of course their main banking call centres are UK just not the credit card stuff I believe.
  6. If it's yellow let it mellow, if it's brown flush it down. Well, those were my initial thoughts anyway.
  7. Couldn't run it with sound... I assume they were running a cold engine at full throttle or something?
  8. I like the chap in the burgundy top who keeps appearing, and does nothing but stand watching! He must be the owner or something!
  9. Hopefully puss cat has turned up this morning? I remember thinking I'd lost my Linus. I'd moved house from the only house he'd known, and he was 8 at the time. He escaped into the back garden the very first night and ran away. I spent hours looking for him, but then went to bed and he was back the next morning meowing at the door. I have no idea how he knew where to come back to!
  10. So was this before your extended hospital stay? Seriously Nic it's good have you back hope you are well
  11. I just like thinking about the paradox-y side of things, like people doing things BECAUSE they saw it in the vision, like setting up the story board on the wall. It's very cyclical.
  12. To be honest I am on the US schedule too, as I have no time shifting in place for UK freeview, I just torrent stuff I want to watch (it's semi automated too )
  13. Yes to everything apart from the fact it's a BMW
  14. Stock wheels are 9.5J at the rear aren't they and so 255 should be OK.
  15. Really sorry to hear about the dog but the car can be fixed
  16. See what you mean, will have to get the calipers out next time I'm down there then
  17. From that document it *could* be a U16 but as it's probably a different make of meter then who knows
  18. OK thanks may need to upgrade that then. If anyone can say for sure though please speak up
  19. Can anyone identify whether this meter is U16 or not from the picture? How can I tell?

  21. Wow that looks dodgy as hell. "Shaver's" lol! I hope she used a Credit Card!
  22. We were just talking about this at work and I'd not seen it, but it's worth watching. That stunt driver must have balls of steel! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmoWIhMOjmg
