  1. I think you're missing some - 4A 53 · 4B DB FB A0 encodes the initials, date and time. What about 42 4E 56 C0? Actually, I've been thinking about it and I am probably going to remove the last separator dot so it would look like 4A 53 · 4B DB FB A0 · 42 4E 56 C0 C0 06 4B D9 I'm sure someone will get it soon
  2. Well done 2 thirds of the way there! Guessing you're a unix user too! edit to say it's actually 11am you needed to correct for BST
  3. Spot on for the first part (JS) J for James and S for Shelley however the encoding is different for the rest. Sounds like it kept you busy for a while!
  4. Erm nope! Plus there are no months 19 or 14 anyway hehe! How did you get to that? I must also say there's no trickery involved, all the information is encoded in "standard" ways.
  5. Hehe brilliant! I don't expect it will take too long then
  6. Ah, sounds like you probably got the first part decoded!
  7. Hex numbers, yes. Friday afternoon boredom-beating points to anyone who can decode the date, time and location of our wedding
  8. We chose our wedding rings last night and they are being custom made. We are going to get the insides of the rings engraved with a message. I'm going for: 4A 53 · 4B DB FB A0 · 42 4E 56 C0 · C0 06 4B D9 But I suspect Shelley will go for something more traditional
  9. I jack up the car and spin the rear wheel on mine and the other goes the opposite way. I definately have an LSD.
  10. You do realise the supra engine isn't a V6 don't you?
  11. So it didn't actually delete everything? That's good
  12. The forum is starting to smell like dirty laundry! Interesting to read (like a bit of drama) but as others have said it really doesn't belong here.
  13. I'm afraid your data is most likely gone. System recovery does a reformat of the partitions which is not trivial to recover from. There are tools which can scan the raw hard drive and recover important documents but I don't think they are particularly user friendly for a non-techical (just guessing!) person. Hope you have backups of your really important stuff!
  14. I didn't know about the racist connotations of "monkey" until a few months ago, I was in the office trying to get some large files across to a contractor here. He's a big black dude and he asked me for the hostname of my laptop. I replied "monkey" and the other guys in the office just went a little quiet...
  15. Thanks all for the advice. I think Rob has it nailed and timber is the way to go for this application. Will most likely get a professional in to do the work so if anyone can recommend a builder on the Swindon area then let me know!
  16. I don't have the exact height of the roof, it's around 6meters though I'd say. Yes vents are needed and these will go in the walls. I think I need to go back to my team and get some clarification on what's needed. Do builders doing work on commercial property need to be properly accredited? If it was up to me I'd pay some professionals however my brother is keen to get stuck in, I'm sure he'd do a good job but has no formal training, just experience putting walls up in his own house!
  17. How does the gypwall work if I need to put a ceiling on? Imaging an industrial unit with a high roof, and I just need to build a work area perhaps 7.5m x 2m about 2.5m high. Quality of finish doesn't need to be high here.
  18. That looks quite cool - would it be much more expensive than timber?
  19. I am writing a Specification of Works to fit out a building with partitions etc which will be used for some light industrial stuff. Now, I have done a floor plan but the landlord wants a written specification of what we want to do. I don't thinking writing "me and my brother will stick up some of those plasterboard wall things" is going to cut it. So, what's the technical term for partition walls that you make from a timber frame, with plasterboard on each side?
  20. Hehe that really gets to me as well!
  21. Agreed, I must admit I'm not getting into this as much as heroes / lost. It's all a bit slow really, and I can't take the korean bloke seriously as he reminds me of those awful harold and kumar films!
  22. Well he's 4 months old now and has grown quite a bit! Photos are a bit crap - I really need a better camera!
