  1. Haha good point. yes the Odo is at 104k ish, but it was counting up in KM when it came over from Japan.
  2. Officially the fastest manual car on stock turbos on the forum (See the Drag Racing Hall of Fame ): http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?166336-Supra-Drag-Racing-Times&p=2147216&viewfull=1#post2147216 After 13 years of ownership I feel it’s time for my beloved Supra to move on to a new owner. I cannot justify the insurance any more for the amount of use it gets. I know that this has been on and off for sale over the past year, but this time it’s for real..! This is a lovely understated example - you’re not getting a blingy single conversion with loads of gauges all over the place! The car drives beautifully - it’s planted thanks to the suspension rebuild CW did when I first got the car, and now the engine is spot-on thanks to a bottom end rebuild performed by Whifbitz. Car is located in Swindon, Wiltshire, and inspections are welcome, no test drives without insurance, I’m happy to take you for a drive though. The headlines are: 1996 Facelift, TT, 6 speed manual, Gunmetal Grey, non-VVTI Stock twins mapped to 440 bhp by Ryan G at Surrey Rolling Road Apexi PowerFC Racelogic TC with Digital Adjuster / Launch Control AVS Model 5 wheels Hurst Line Lock Kit Water Injection Mint Momo steering wheel with VERY HIGH QUALITY Works Bell quick-release system Pictures at http://imgur.com/a/YgkvA Mileage: 80,000 miles MOT: March 2019 Price - £23,000 Full spec list below. When I obtained the car from a forum member in 2007 the only modifications were to the body plus a boost controller. All of the other mods were done during my ownership using well known vendors - Chris Wilson, RyanG and Paul Whiffin. The bad points: Very few issues considering this a 20 year old car, but there a couple of points to note: 1. The engine warning light blinks on momentarily when you let your foot off the throttle after acceleration. This is really not a big deal, and is caused by the boost sensor reading too low a value on throttle-off. Ryan G explained this to me after our last mapping session and I trust him completely! The fix would be to fit a 3.0 bar boost sensor (which I will supply with the car) but this would mean another re-map - which I have not done because there would be no benefit until something else changes on the car (FMIC perhaps?). 2. I scratched the bumper getting my bike out of the garage. 3. Passenger side sill has had a scrape/crack and needs to be fixed by a bodyshop, and honestly the rest of the bodykit could do with a touch up at the same time. 4. Incomplete trim in the boot. Stripped this out years ago. Some of the bits I still have, what I have you can have but it might need to be modified to fit around the water injection pump and tank. I have original carpet and didn’t want to cut it. 3. TT mode can be easily put back to stock. It's just a re-wiring of a couple of vacuum pipes in the sequential systems. It took Ryan G about 20 seconds to do. Yes ideally it would need the stock ECU back or a remap for that.
  4. A little update. Since the original Ad I've had the following done: - New rear discs and pads - Renewed the tired window tint on the rear window, this was done professionally and looks awesome now - Restored the boot trim (plastic box thing, upper plastic trim) and cleaned the OEM boot carpet. The carpet is here but is NOT installed in the car. The reason for this is due to the fitment of the AEM water injection tank. Rather than cutting the carpet I decided to remove it and leave as stock. It would be up to the new owner to either modify the carpet or relocate/delete the meth injection. Also just been looking around the garage and I do have the original ECU and injectors which could be used to return the engine management to Stock, if that's your thing. I also have the Stock Steering wheel available (good condition) but I honestly 1000% prefer the Momo! Took her out for a blast today and she's running really well.
  5. £21k would be an easy sale for me with the car as it is
  6. Bumpy Mc.Bump! I'm really not sure of current value. I'd put this at a mid to good-condition TT6, and could be mint with a little work on the body. Engine is sweet, gearbox solid, smooth ride, and no faults. I see there are a few people looking for Supras at the moment and wonder if anyone is interested? Also if anyone has any ideas on value that'd be great. MOT expires in 2 weeks so I'll be getting a new one on ASAP!
  7. Give Mike Jones at tuning developments a call and say James from Swindon sent you. http://www.tuningdevelopments.co.uk
  8. Foggy, It's actually 4 spoke, and in pretty good condition considering it's been sat in the garage for probably 9 years now. No marks apart from the usual wear. See pictures here: http://imgur.com/a/U7EFD EDIT: The airbag part of the wheel is just resting in there for the photo which is why the gap looks quite big. Once it's fully fitted it will be fine. I'd say £20 if you are still interested. I am actually up near Manchester next week so we might be able to arrange something to save the risks of posting an explosive airbag... Toaster not included. Cheers James
  9. I actually have the original steering wheel from my facelift car in the garage somewhere. I'll dig it out tomorrow and see what condition it's in. It has the airbag but I can't remember if it's 3 or 4 spoke.
  10. She's booked into her MOT at the weekend. I'm imagining it's done less than 200 miles since the last one. Can't keep doing this to the poor car - the good news is that it's spent the winter in my folk's garage - but as they say, out of sight, out of mind.
  11. *holds hand up* Since putting about 100 miles on her since the last time I've thought I'd selling, I *must* consider it again. Though it's started up to temp regularly it's a travesty not getting enough real use. Need to pull together the advert again, but check out my garage. Cheer
  12. Would a TT6 black carpet be different pre- and post-facelift?
  13. Yep can't complain here either. Great guys to deal with, when he asked for a list of mods I just pointed him to my garage page on here! £410 fully comp, 38 years old. Shite I'm getting old.
  14. Calidcot just over the bridge Ok my welsh geography ain't great I thought you'd be closer but it's not too bad
  15. Mate you can't be that far from Paul W being in west Glamorgan? I take my car to him and I'm in Swindon!
  16. How sure are you that it's not the brake fluid level? Mine needs to be at the higher end of the scale, to avoid tripping the light.
  17. Damn, that is a good price mate. I'd have thought one of the breakers on here would be interested at that price, but it would be a real shame. I must admit I was tempted to grab it as a donor car for various bits but it's too nice to break. GLWS!
  18. Good point, I mean the car has been used and I make no attempt to hide this fact! Agreed though when I do come to seriously sell the car I will take care of these simple things. On a more positive note, the fact I am getting around to sorting this small bits and spending more time with the car make me want to keep it and use it Rear brakes done, on to the boot trim now Cheers J
  19. Cost £140 new 2 years ago but actually has only been used once, when my car was temporarily de-spoilered! It will suit a stock or near stock car, it doesn't fit very well with my bodykit. Comes with carry bag and is in very good condition. £70 delivered
  20. Awesome Yeah you should be safe to delete everything in there.
  21. I did wonder about TRIM but even if it wasn't enabled it shouldn't cause this sort of file system usage issue. Free space is maintained and reported by NTFS or whatever not the SSD which is why I suspect this is not an SSD issue per se.
  22. Give https://windirstat.info a try. It's not SSD specific but it's really good at highlighting areas of unexpected high usage.
