  1. Is it? I thought those were the standard steering wheels? gonna be replaced for a momo number.
  2. It's not a facelift. No worries.....i need to check the car out again 2mrw!
  3. Doesn't have leather...but the interior is mint...i think BITMA certification would shed some light on whether the car mileage is accurate. How would i go about getting this done and is it expensive? I will mention it to my mate too....i think the fact that the steering wheel is in poor condition compared to the rest of the interior is a little odd and makes my slightly cautious. I wouldn't plan on doing anything with the car, as all the styling mods, t&t, security, service etc would be done....and having drove the car it seems to drive faultless. The gears and clutch are excellent (not notchy, clunky or winining noise etc) and the car idles well and the power delivery is smooth.
  4. From Bradford, recently sold my much loved sub http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=006&sspagename=STRK%3AMESO%3AIT&viewitem=&item=160089520644&rd=1&rd=1
  5. Yeah saw the car in the flesh it is in good condition...not mint but good. The headlights are like brandnew after a buff as they were slightly yellow, the interior is spotless, seats have no wear/tear unlike the steering....in regards to what i will have to spend once i get the car...nothing. The full service, T&T, security etc all completed prior to sale. Deff in two minds now, after seeing you got a 96 face lift for 5k! Deal not done yet, no money has passed hands, I just told him I want it and will see him to sort reciepts etc tomorrow.
  6. Hmmmm.....well that's got me thinking..need to query that with him tomorrow
  7. The car is in good condition, and knowing him since we were kids I'm confident he wouldn't sell me a pile o shite. If anything does come up after the sale I know he will sort it no questions asked.
  8. The leather on the steering wheel is quite worn. The car hasn't had a respray, its just the wording on the add as championship white.
  9. My mate is in the import trade and I have decided to buy this car from him: 1995 (N) SZ-R 5speed manual, 59,000 miles. Championship White, 17" Split Rims, with Wider rears, Veilside Side Skirts, TRD Front & Rear Styling, HKS S/S/Exhaust, Apexi Induction Kit, Greddy Vacuum Gauge. Interior condition is immaculate apart from the steering. Exterior is in good condition, a rear spat is in need of a touch up. Alloys immaculate. Car drives well, tight gears, no rattles or pulling of steering, idles nice, pulls smooth etc.. In addition he will also be carrying out the following for me: Full service including cambelt change New double din (cd/md) headunit New momo steering wheel Two brandnew back tyres Cat1 alarm & imob Respray rear spats 12months mot 6months tax £5700....is this a good price?
  10. It's got to be silver or white (black was a killer to keep clean on the scooby!!). Is the manual n/a better for fuel efficiency compared to the auto? and what kind of performance differences are there between the two? thanks
  11. Thanks all for the warm welcome....anything from 260-300miles is good!! So the best n/a to get is the 6speed sz-R 96'onwards. Ok thanks all for the advice...gonna keep my eyes and ears open as have the cash waiting for a good clean example. What type of price am I looking at?
  12. Hi all, recently sold my wrx http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160089520644ssPageName=Action:MPR Now looking for a supra n/a manual. N/a? why not a TT i hear you ask, well the mileage i do to work and back makes owning a 3.0tt a little too harsh on the wallet i think. The scooby was very good on fuel considering the power however I have decided an n/a will do me just fine. I'm not looking for peak performance (otherwise i would buy an evo) but what i am looking for is beautiful looks and reliability....which from what I hear and see the supra dishes out a plenty Now a couple of questions....what type of mpg can i expect from an n/a manual? I was getting around 250-260 miles for a full tank (£45) from the scooby. I am looking at buying such a car from a club member, as from my experience owing performance cars I have always found that enthusiast owned cars are of a higher standard. Having bought my previous two cars (evo 7 & wrx) from club members i can confidently say that such meticulously owned cars are the ones to go for. Anyway, enough jabber....nice to meet everyone and i hope to have a super supra very soon....right off to the classifieds section.
