    Engine stand

The quality of the SGS stuff is spot on, u have the 3 tonne low ride, high lift trolley jack and its ace cannot fault it.
  5. If any one has the email details I would be interested. Im looking at trying to sell this soon which may be difficult with little info. Unless someone local to me with a jap spec tt 6 speed wants to come and try it.
  6. Can you not re seal it yourself? Its pretty simple if you get decent sealant.
  7. 264 cams are on the build list to help with the breathing, Im leaning more towards getting rods and pistons installed now just for peace of mind. Its just another 1k on the shopping list
  8. Thats what im thinking. I may as well upgrade them just incase, the last thing i want to do is have to rebuild the engine again. If that happens i can see me selling up as i really couldn't go at it a second time round.
  9. I've done a search and nothing conclusive turned up. I have recently purchased the HKS to4z turbo kit from the for sale section. My question is,(I know this has been asked a thousand times) what are the safe limits for the stock rods and pistons? My engine is going to be rebuilt in the near future by Paul and his team due to my (suspected) bottom end bearing damage. I was thinking of asking to get brian crower sportsman rods and CP pistons installed to future proof the engine if i fancy some more poke later on down the line. But are they really needed? I estimate it to be completed in the region of around 600 bhp give or take, I obviously have a budget and im trying to keep it as low as possible. Any help would be great. Gav
  10. Ah well. Cheers for letting us all know.
  11. Got some work done on the engine bay today I think it looks heaps better. miles better me thinks.
  12. Is the purchase of tickets now open then?
  13. I think the only offsets they do is 20 25 and 30
  14. Cheers Jamie, ive just sent him a pm
  15. Seeing as my wheels are in need of a real good refurb im thinking of just replacing them with some new XXR wheels These are what i have in mind http://www.srbpower.com/productimage.php?product_id=79263 The wheels are 18 x 8.5 offset 25 and 18 x 10 offset 25 What size tyres will i be able to use on these as i really want as much grip on the rears as possible. Any help would be great
  16. Dont give up fella. My supra has been off the road for nearly 3 years whilst ive been saving up to funds to get it fixed up. The amount of times i thought, whilst looking at the supra on the drive, f**k it im going to sell the bloody thing. But ive got to the point now that im determined to do it and see it through. Dont give up. Gav
  17. If numbers are required could we open it up to a few members form other OC's?
  18. 1 member drag. 2 non members drag too. May have about 6 entries potentially too.
  19. You should have an element of float in the bolt holes in the hinges. Just slacken the bolts off so you can move the bonnet around into place( I seem to think they are M8 bolts with an M10-12 hole in the bracket which should give you som movement/play), Once its in the place where you want it lift the bonnet just enough so you can tighten the bolts again, if you lift it too high it may slide away from where you want it. Thats how i did mine. Gav
  20. I finally got the loom out the other day Im soon going to be installing my 0awg cable for my battery relocation, Am I best off running this through the holes in the bulkhead and through the car. Or under th car following the brake lines and int the boot via hole somewhere in the boot floor? Gav
  21. Awesome stuff fella. I really like that.
