im taking my beast off the road for a while to save forking out on expensive insurance and fuel costs at the mo. ive just bought an old kawasaki kmx from a bloke in my village for a £100 with a genuine 1357 miles on it from band new back in 1986 so ive just done that up and gettin it back on the road. ill run round on that and my calibra 16v for the time being. im also going on nights for a while so can get some extra cash flowing in. im after taking it off the road and saving up to do some work on it as i cant afford to do anything atm. ive reacently done the teins super streets suspension, and the bpu which i have had on for a while now. but i want to beaf the engine up a bit i dont really want to go to a single turbo (dont know why i just like the twins). ill probs have about £6k over 6 months to splash out on it. so im just guaging intrest on what would be a good recomendation to take it to around the 500bhp region. with either a single or a twin setup. any replies would be great thanks gavin

i used to have jam ad cheese butties. but ive never seen the fascination with sugar butties though.

ive just bought a new power kite on sunday cant wait for it to come through the post, im well looking forwards to it.

if you find out who it is and they have a car with a sun roof smash it and order a cement truck in to come and fill it. should make one nice road block on there driveway

i gather it was done at night in the cover of darkness, good way to deter them is to put a cheap spot light up on your house facing the drive so if the come on the drive it lights them up and they usually run away. i used to have people nick my dust caps havent got a fecking clue what they want with them. bit the light did the trick. but if i ever catch who it was

so the problem is just because im using tein dampers and springs with my stock top mounts. for the sake of a bit of a squeak i might as well just deal with it because i cant be arsed removing them again for the sake of a squeak and putting my stock ones back on would mean i spent £500 on the teins for nothing.

if that does sort it out what does it mean. something to do with my new shocks or something. or would it be better to buy the tein top mounts for them.

ive used the standard top mounts what do you recomend i look for to solve the problem

oh and its only the rears that i can hear

they never used to squeak but i put my new TEIN Super Streets on at the weekend and they squeak at every bump is there anything i can do to stop it or is is it something ive done wrong. ive doubled and trippled checked that every thing is tight, or is it because ive used my origional top mounts. gav

also have you got the build istructions for the tein super street suspension as i have miss placed it. cheers for the above though will come in usefull

ive made one of them before on my mongoose bmx when i was 18 i used a lawn mower engine and a go cart centrifugal clutch of ebay. i made a carrier on the back of the bike though as i thought it ws a bit looney having the engine between my legs. it was crap at setting off but once the clutch propperly kicked in it was a beast. i got clocked by my mate in his nova at 36 mph god knows how i didnt kill myself because the brakes were pointless. ill get some pics soon if i can find them

im at 1200 quid at 23years old and 4 years no claims sky said to give them a call when i get 5years no claims a year ago so ive only got 9 days to go till i have 5 so hopefully they can knock me a couple of quid off

mine had to be driven to be checked about 2 monts ago they have a device that the put in the pasanger foot well and when the brakes are pressed it gives a read out of some kind.

seen them on ebay but just thought i would ask and see if any one on here has one lying about unused instead thanks gav
