  1. my mate had on on a renault megane it was a thin slice of plastic a bit like shim with double sided sticky tape on one side. but it went on the inside of the light not on the outside so it couldnt be seen during the day. the light cover/reflector (the red bit) still looked the same during the day but when you put the brake on you got the word megane show through. looked ok but the rest of his car was a dump but he loved it. i dont know if these go on the inside or the outside though, looks like its the outside by the picture so im not sure what the final thing would look like. could be good but it might look propper gash when its on, and for 9quid plus 5quid postage thats a hell of a lot to pay for a sticker you could probably cut out of a sheet of black vinyl for 99p is it really worth it. but if they came up with some good quotes it could be fun.
  2. i did mine and sprayed it silver. really wish i didnt now. gonna strip at again soon and put it back to black but it wont look any where as good as that though. top job fella
  3. ive seen worse in blackpool some one had ordered a cement truck and smashed the sun roof and must have paid the driver to fill the car full. cant remember what type of car it was but needless to say is was on its arse with the weight and in roses around the car it said, happy f*****g valantines day. made me laugh. must have been a pain in the arse to get it moved as it must have weighed a lot
  4. i was out on my kawasaki kmx the other day when it finaly popped and i melted a ring and i now have a nice groove in my cylinder head. does anyone know of a deacent place to go in the preston/blackpool area to get it re-bored. thanks gav
  5. i know this has been asked a million times before but does any one have the metal insert (the bit that goes up and down). or for you lot that have just bought a stubby in a group buy and havent got the time to fit it would you consider selling it to me. ta gavin

  7. there is a scuff where the trainer has hit the door and a small dent under where the mirror has hit it but no real damage really. just wish i knew who it was

  9. just got up this morning to find out that some little B£$**&D has kicked my drivers side wing mirror off, it was still hanging from the cables. they have completely sheared the alluminium casting that runs down the middle of it. As far as i can tell it's irrepairable just because of the place in which its been broken.. has any one else had this happen if so how much did it cost to repair if i can get a second hand wing mirror? if i need to source a brand new one how much am i looking at paying for the complete assembly? thanks gavin
  10. the only thing that baffles me about this video is the fact that not only does the chair fall off the table but it manages to f*****g cum on the floor too thats pretty amazing !!! made me chuckle.
  11. sorry to hear it fella. im a bit slow when it comes to the forum as i dont get chance to come on very offen. hope you get yourself sorted and eventually a new motor gav

  14. it was a cryo insert one where they freeze it and then insert it untill it warms up and expands into the joint.
  15. yea he said it was on a renault master van
  16. i was thinking it cant do the oint much good as you would have to force the ball out of the socket which in my opinion would open it all up for more play
  17. really he said it was an absolut nightmare to do.
  18. im pretty sure it was done on a transit van or even the renault master van i cant remember what it was on now. ill ask him and find out. even if he could do it for the supra i dont know where he would find replacement balljoints on there own as the only ones i have come across is as afull wish bone.
  19. im not particularly after some yet my self but ive been told they can be chaned but i just wanted to know if it was posible to do so. i will will be after some in the not too distant future but cant afford at the mo hence why my supra only comes out once a week at the weekends
  20. do you mean something simular to what they have on the mitsubishi 3000gt http://www.ukcar.com/road_tests/Mitsubishi/3000GT/hatch.jpg
  21. hey folks is there any way of replacing the balljoints on the wishbones or is it just a case of buying the job lot. my mate works for renault and said that they can be replaced without buying the whole wishbone. just wanted to know if this is possible thats all cheers gavin
  22. i changed mine myself absolute pig of a job but well worth saving the pennies. dont attempt it unless you feel pretty confident there is a walk through on here somewhere which i followed and i got through it ok but im an aircraft fitter so im used to doing tricky jobs. took my time over two days last winter so was very cold when doing it, but was well worth it once it was done. gav
