I so wish i had the time to do this i love doing things like this the girlfriend thinks im crackers, she is on of these if it aint broke dont fix it people. im like if it works pull it apart put it back together and make it work better kind of person.

Are all the rear subframe for the supras the same or are there differences between them. As i may be after one for my J-spec gettin all rear end bits together, including needing a new rear diff at some point but im not sure what im after yet. Gav

thought of that but it looks pretty new, but if it was the battery why would it ease up when i force feed it petrol to start, surley it would still struggle to turn it over with or without introducing fuel.

Hi folks Having a bit of trouble getting the car started on cold mornings. 1992 Polo 1.3 on single point injection above the carb When i turn the key it sounds as though the engine is trying to turn treacle its very laboured and will turn over very slowly and wont start. If i then squirt a bit of easy start or a bit of petrol into the carb, it still turns over slowly untill the fuel is taken in and then it sounds as though you have just introduced a load of lube to the pistons as it wisses round and then starts up fine. What can the problem be Gav

Ive just bought a honda chaly with a 110cc engine in it, get one of those there class. If your after something to just get to work and back on then why do you need anything like a 1000cc engine to do it, you mpg will be just as bad on that than it would be to drive everyday. I have a Kawasaki KMX crosser to get me to work and back its a 125cc with a 200cc head on it so it bloody shifts for its size and hapily takes me to 70mph on dual carigeways etc... and it uses about £6 worth of fuel in 3 days which aint bad considering a round trip to work is nearly 30 miles. Bikes are good if you dont act like a prat and keep your wits about you, its very rare i have a relaxed ride to work and back as there is always some nob out there who wants to ruin it.

Ive not had a look yet but there are loads of step by step walk through's on the club that have pics on them, thats where i get alot of my information from and have a dam big read through various posts and threads even if it isnt relating to the problem at hand it just gives you a larger database to work from, and if its not on here then there are plenty of other resources to gather information from on the internet. But i must admit that this owners club has been the best so far for information relating to the mechanical, electrical and pretty much everything about the Supra, and if you cant find what your looking for then ask, there is always someone on here that has an answer to what your looking for thats why i love it

Get the spanners out and have a look, there is no better feeling than finding a soulution to a problem yourself for free, providing you feel comfortable doing so I do the vast majority of work on all my cars myself and love it, but if there is something i dont quite feel up to doing ill let a garage do it. I very nearly had to throw the towel in on the heater matrix and the reacent turbo replacements though . But yea have a go i did and have never looked back.

good luck with the pond chris how big you thinking of going, as the larger you make it the larger filters you need and then it starts to get expensive. girlfriend hates it when i give it a clean once a year cause it stinks

Arent Ibuprofen mor fom muscle/body aches i dont bother with them as they dont do anything for me. Pink Migraleve tablets shoud sort you out but if it doesnt move on to the yellows and prepare to go to sleep

me too on perscription migraleve tablets . Absolutley hate them there the devils work, i cant do anything when i have a migraine apart from mong out on the sofa with sunglasses on and no noise in the house at all.

I used some chrome paint before, it look like chrome until i tried to lacquer then it just turned grey.

Im sure they have a renault megane engine in them, my mate used to work for renault. dont quote me on it but they would be good with a turbo slapped on.

im not on shifts i work a monday to thursday week but longer hours. Its still to bloody cold i dont think ill ever get used to it. Will have to arrange a time and a place ?

well ive lost my locking wheel nut key bugger. im rubbish at searching on the club but i seem to remember seeing a thread on drilling them out and replacing the stud. if someone could please find it for me. also were is the best place to get som new wheel studs from. thanks in advance Gav
