I wouldnt be doing any modding, just want a better every day run about thats a bit more fun than my polo. the only thing i would do is stiffen up the suspension a bit to make it corner better. As for 110 i wouldnt be reaching speeds like that any way so thats plenty for me. I may resume trying to find a good model thats unmolested.

Just a quicky really. What are they like for reliability if they are kept standard, im after replacing my polo and fancy a little pocket rocket. I have always fancied one but couldnt justify my apprentice wage going on one. Now i can somewhat afford it im rather tempted but unsure as to what a 1.3t engine can take before they go bang. I know some are running large hp but just wanted to know what they are like as an every day commuter, as i dont want it to be like the supra, when something goes its not going to cost me a fortune in repairs. You would never catch me doing any thing like that on my bike nor carrying out stupid overtakes and undertakes like in the vid, any one of those cars could move over at any point, and at speeds like that you need a deacent distance to complete a adjustment to compensate for it. I couldnt give a crap if the guy is a pro seems more like a di*k to me, if he does crash and kill himself then thats his idea of fun, but you have got to think about how mortified the person will be that he crashes into. Please tell me your not that stupid to carry out things like he does.

Cheers fella, they are a very nice looking bit of kit, i would keep them but needs must with my suspention. I knew that my bushes needed replacing, so i bought i bush kit replacement kit, but when i took the components off the car i discovered that the ball joints are buggered too. So i need all the money i can get to replace the damaged parts

They have adjustment screws built in to them so the timing can be tweaked to perfection, but standard ones are just a solid pulley and cant be adjusted at the pulley.

Ill check tonight as i cant remember off the top of my head. They look almost brand new apart from a few extremley minor marks. I need to get some money together for new suspention parts. So these are now not my priority as they were only going to be for a bit of engine bling really. gav
