Im sure ours are the STOVL its the ones that are in my jig at the moment, should see completion of our first set of vertical and horisontal tails within the next month or so, then they get shipped to the US to be mated up on there final assembly line.

Or even just getting some bike carbs on it.

Just thinking of keeping the weight down at the front end. I used to have a nova gte when i was 18, and my mate had a nove with a 2.0l c20xe dropped in it, and i could kick his ass round corners I just lost the battle when we were going straight, so would like to keep the weight relitivley the same. That is if i ever get round to doing anything. But i would bloody love to have it as a sleeper, it attracts so many nob heads as it is, I just wish i had some power to unleash fury upon them

The rate in which we are making JSF's at the moment god help us, they want one a day, i cant see that happening for a while. But just to let you know the production of the first british one has started construction

Did you remove it with the engine removed or still installed. I may need to check mine first to see if is the same fitment,as mine is a 1994 tt import so it may be different unless some one could clarify.

I may after this, if you dont mind me asking whas it a PITA to remove, and whats the reason for memoving it. Cheers Gav

If you are keeping it as a rolling shell for now then no probs, but if your selling everything then i would be interested in all the front suspention arms etc.. providing that they are still in good working order, and possibly your rear subframe and mounts. Cheers Gav

Any one done a supframe mount replacement that they would like to let me know about, with regards to removal of the subframe, where you got and how much the mounts cost

it looks like one of those things that wont just slide out without removing half the car to do so. i might just leave it for now and concentrate on my sloppy rear end

I was going to ask that same question too, my leak is coming from inside the rubber seal or the front right hand side of the steering rack.

As some of you may know i have reacently just changed all of my rear suspension components but im still getting what seems to be two flat tyres at the back, it feels sloppy in corners and i just dont feel safe driving it. Im thinking that the whole of the rear subframe may be slightly loose, can anyone tell me how much it would cost for all the rear diff mounts, subframe mounts and new anti rollbar bushes as i may as well change absolutley everything now that i have spent all this money on it. Also does any one have or can point me in the right direction to a link on how to remove the rear subframe that would be great. I have also discovered that my power steering rack is leaking as i have to top up my resevour bottle around every month or so. Is this also an easy fix or would i be better replacing it, as just by looking at it it looks like an absolute ball ache to change. I could really do with giving my car to some one to give it all a bloody good looking at and seeing what needs doing and replacing but i dont have a lot of money to sort it out, so if its going to cost me too much i think im may have to sell up. Any how if any one has any info on the above that would be great. Cheers Gav

Gold fish ara a hardy bunch, but as a minimum i would get an air stone in there, which will not only put oxygen into the water it will also circulate it too. If they wer koi you would most certainly be putting them under stress. What size pond ar you going for?

its just gone through an mot ata local garage i use, all the wheel bearings were fine, i have already checked over the bolts and they are all ok and torqued up correctly. The only think i havent checked myself is the subframe bolts and ARB bushes etc. Can you see if there will be any problems by looking at them and giving the car a jiggle, or is there a specific check that needs to be done

yea i have falkens on it, ive never had a problem with them before on any of my other cars so cant see it being the tyres that are at fault

i personaly didnt, but my mate at the garage loosened it all off before he carried out the allignment, which at that point the car was down with the weight on its wheels on the ramps. Would that have made a difference ie too much of an excessive load on the bushes or something.

I have reacently just changed all of the rear suspention compenents, ie wishbones etc... got the car 4 wheel lazer alligned, but it still feels sloppy at the back end. When in a straight line its fine doesnt pull to the left or right under accelaration or anything like that, but if i jiggle the steering wheel it feels as though the rear tyres are flat as it swamps about. Could i be right in thinking that the subframe may not be secure in the way of the mounts or would that problem be blatently obvious in way of excessive movement. Im stumped. Gav

dependant on the quality of alloy used, a dent like that could produce small hairline fractures, i personaly would stay away.

same with any DVD rental places though, you haave to send it back at some point. at least you dont get a fine for not taking it back.

which model xbox are you using. I had the old elite and i had the same problems with mine, bought the new xbox and i havent had a problem since. so i presume it was something to do with the conection on the xbox itself as i did use it all the time at mates house so putting the hdmi in and out all the time probable wore the conection points out. You could try cleaning them and see if it helps.
