hi all ok the story so far. i changed my brake pads afew days ago using the walk thru guide from here (which was v.handy) so job done i thought... since then my brakes have been squeekin like crazy so thought i must have dun somethin wrong, i did a search a realised that u have to take the metal plates that are pressed up against the pads off n onto the new set (me bein a complete newb did not realise this fact) so i;ve put the metal plates on & put everythin back together and put the pins in etc but there still doin it i wondered if the pads had to go bk on a certain way or the metal plates have to etc? on that note i'm not completely newb as i have put the metal plates on followin the shape of the pads lol can anyone tell me if i'm missin sumthin? any help appreciated oh & its my front brakes

well i went with cash but coudln't fit the damn thing in the car without leavin the boot part open & ropin it down...but then i thought i've gotta get from there to luton (M1 etc) n just wasn't worth the risk as the bumper was already twisted n squeezed down to fit in as it was!!!! so i've asked if he'll meet me at j15 of the M1 this weekend if poss damn northamptons a nightmare to find your way around lol:D

hi all, my bird asked last night what i wanted for christmas & i said..mainly stuff for the supra. The response i got wasn't great...she went off on one sayin how she dusn't wanna buy me stuff for the car n wants to get other things - what she called 'proper presents' but i don't really want anythin else and stuff for the supra is definately proper presents in my eyes!!!!!! dus anyone else have this debate with their other half?
