The mx records are basically a pointer to a host name. / A postcode. This postcode is deciphered via the a record. So if you imagine my server. When it goes to email you it has to resolve your email address. It does that by looking up the postcode. The mx record is a pointer. I know it can. Be difficult to.understand.

You can edit all the records. Some are "catch all" emails records. Eg just forwards them all on to your server and your server excepts or rejects them. If your worried Chris, I can change them for you.

If your trying to fix.. mail going to your account eg [email protected] 1st create A record called mail.chriswilson.tv with the Zen IP address. Then edit the mx entry for *.chriswilson.tv to mail.chriswilson.tv. Does that help

Basically mate.. Your mx records are the one that resolve emails. Eg. Mx mail.ibby.co.uk AAA mail.ibby.co.uk resolves to 123.123.123.123

, if you go for a physical disk onsite it needs to be secured. what kind of email system are you using? Are these standalone machines or a domain, how many computers? Windows patching policy? Antivirus policy? Internet connection speed? -

Assuming you are using windows, you can create a schedule backup to run twice a day to an external or a cloud based source. Two things I must stress here.. 1 encryption is a must 2 putting your production data into the cloud eg one drive does not make it count as a backup. How much data do you have? -

The duty cycle of the battery eg dod will depend how long they will last. The lower the go the more frequently you will need to replace them. You will need atleast 3x the capacity in storage you use. Each panel is around 300 watt and I recon you would need 6 of them working on 50% availability.
