  1. Noz, do you have any of these left? My stock aerial just popped out the top so I had to remove it, I have the hole covered by insulating tape at the moment but looks rubbish. Regards, Rich
  2. Hi, Having problems with my passenger side folding mirror, only partially extends, I have to flick the switch several times to get it fully extended. Ive read about the forums that its best to change the motor so any help would be muchly appreciated Rich.
  3. Just to update this topic, I ended up putting a few screws thru the exhaust housing and the rattling stopped, a bit radical but got it sorted
  4. Yes its an import and im sure its got a stock exhaust. Anyone using a particular garage in Berkshire or Reading? Rich.
  5. Hi, Im now desperate Ive had a rattle coming from underneath my MkIV for the past 4 months on and off. I had it repaired for £50 by a trusted mechanic but I bottomed out over a speedhump and its returned with avengance! Unfortunately the above mechanic is now away for a few months, so my car looks amazing but sounds worse than Del boy's three wheeler [/sAD] The other week I took it in to Kwik Fit and the guy listened to it out on the forecourt, then drove it on to the lift, didnt bother to start the engine with it up on the ramp. Instead he started calling part suppliers for a whole new exhaust (What did I expect from KwikFit[OOPS][/OOPS]). I was then told that it would cost me £800 to fix [sAD] /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_sad.gif I need to get this looked at by somebody who knows what they are doing, does anyone know of a dedicated Supra mechanic or Jap import mechanic?? Any advise or support is appreciated. Rich.
  6. Ok, so im going for 8" or 8.5" on the front and 9" or 9.5" on the back. Also, one garage told me that my car cannot take staggered wheels, I thought this was wrong myself, but better to check with the experts, e,g. you guys Is this right?
  7. http://www.performancealloys.com/details.asp?procedure=wheel&id_wheels='Fox%20RS%2010'&id_wheels_manufacturers='Fox%20RS'&id_wheels_sizes='18x8'&price='189'&permission=819469701 These are the wheels I want but I don't know what size I need, can any tell me what size? I'm going for 18" but dont know width. The car is a non turbo 3.0L Thanks for any help!
  8. Is it ok to pump the brake pedal to bleed the system or will this cause damage to the MBC?
  9. Just changed my spark plugs and I disconnected the water feed, not sure if I needed to do the job or not, either way I did, what's the best way to bleed the coolant system?
