  1. The current N1 system has been revised from the version i have however it retailed 3 years ago around the £550 mark. Just looked on Envy and its £695 . For info the picture on their site though isnt the Ti.
  2. Thanks mate, did you keep stock ride height or did you drop a bit as well. I am keen on the Teins so as long as the lowest settings are not hard then at least i will have the option for a softer ride if i wish. My TRD coilovers on my old GT-Four were teeth shattering to say the least but then with only 4 settings its no surprise. Thanks for the info Regards Chris
  3. Just an update on my running issue. It turns out that error code 31 can relate to the MAP Sensor on early J-Specs even though the diagnostics code chart talks about Air Flow Mass Meter. My problem wasnt the actual MAP sensor but the FCD which takes a feed from the MAP to the ECU. I dont have my car back yet to double check however i think the plug inside the TRL FCD had become disconnected from the curcuit board. This is a known problem on the early units. Anyway the FCD has been taken off for now and the car runs fine again. Thank you to Alex for suggesting the MAP may be faulty and to Matt Hardwood for telling me to check the FCD. Willson has been a big help too as he had a silimar problem, cheers Gordon I probably should thank the SEARCH button while i am here Regards Chris
  4. Quick question on the superstreets. I used to have TRD 4 Way adjustable Coilovers on my Celica GT-Four and although only 4 adjustment points even on the softest setting they were cronic on normal roads. How soft do the Teins go, do they feel like the standard set-up on their softest settings. Regards Chris

  8. Not fake, firstly taken from Life of Birds, award winning documentry plus even Blackbirds can mimic electronic sounds like car alarms -: http://www.birdnature.com/dec1899/lyre.html It seems to have the power of mocking almost every other bird, as well as the barking of the dingo, besides possessing a sweet song of its own. One author states that for the first two hours of the morning it repeats over again its own song, then gradually changes it to imitate other birds, ending its four hour song period with imitations of all the other birds within hearing, then remaining silent for the rest of the day.
  9. Thats allot if you only have 23,370 on the clock
  10. Hello Andy, £6200 sounds like a bargain price to me and the car looks great. A nice range of mods too. Im sure your grinning allot already, but prepare to grin for a long time to come. Regards Chris
  11. The ST is around 140BHP from memory and the GT 173BHP. I owned a GT for 3 years and it was a great car, nothing major to put right. Just things like clutch and brake discs. I would just ensure the clutch is OK but that said its not a big job on the ST\GT.
  12. Chris is definately your man however this is a good read if you havnt seen it already -: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6622&highlig
  13. Im good Rob, although plenty of highs and lows. I was all for selling up last week however ive sold my GT-Four instead so the Supra is staying. The Supra hasnt been used all that much in the last 2 years however the plan now is to use it to and from work a few times a week and start enjoying it again. As a result im getting to know my car all over again, hence returning to the fold How you doing, you OK too. Regards Chris
  14. Meguiars NXT Generation Products for me -:
  15. Just a bit more info, this problem first occurred on a gentle ride, not under any load. At the time i had the silencer pipe fitted in the Apexi exhaust so could the pressure the exhaust system was under by having the pipe restricted have caused the MAP sensor failure. Regards Chris
  16. Cheers Alex i will go and check. Have you heard of a MAP sensor failing and needing replacing.
  17. The idle on my Supra is very lumpy plus the ECU reports error code 31. From what i have read on the forum (search) a 1993 J-Spec doesnt have an AFM or MAF so does anyone know what else my problem could be. The Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart is very specific regarding error code 31 in that the trouble area is either -: Open or short in air flow meter curcuit Air Flow Meter ECU Is there any chnace an error code 31 means something else on a 1993 J-Spec. Regards Chris
  18. As i dont have any pictures of my Supra with the Lexus alloys fitted i didnt want to confuse any potential buyers with pictures of my old alloys. Basically its a Service, MOT, Valet at which point i will take current pictures. I didnt mean to add mystery to the add, i just wanted to get the idea out there that my car was coming up for sale. Once ive taken the current pictures i thought that would be the best time to put a price up too. My Supra will be advertised on Autotrader and here for £9,995. Hope this helps and i will get the pictures up next week. Best regards Chris
