  1. When your sat at work bored, staring at the clock you find the simplest of things amusing or try http://www.doogle.org/
  2. Type google gothic and click i'm feeling lucky Made me laugh
  3. I did 200 miles this weekend, a mixture of Motorway cruising in 6th and driving through the Peak district mostly twisty roads and hills (in 3rd and 4th) and did about 16-18mpg in the end, i did'nt buy the supe to be economical lol. Great fun driving in the Peak district though, well enjoyed it
  4. Haha yeah £1100 is alot, wish you the best of luck with the sale Kev and you sourcing one Andy
  5. Yeah i was lucky i think, got a uk tt 6sp for £6350 with the plate, the plate gets as much attention as the car sometimes haha. Yeah i reckon there's a few other good ones out there!, just finding them Anyway hope the sale of this one goes well Feel guilty now cos you thought u had a bargain
  6. Haha Thats my Numberplate M 50PRA, i got in touch with one of the private plate places to see how much it was worth, as it came with the car, dont wanna sell it tho cos it looks great hehe .
  7. 5 Million that could be put towards more staff, new equipment etc, it just dont seem right really, she should donate it back, they need it more than she does i reckon
  8. Sounds to me like its checking for windows/office updates, we get this alot on our pc at work (i'm an it tech) svchost will be taking up alot of the pc's time, once it checkes for updates it should work fine and normal. However should only take a short time unless it actually finds updates which should be released on the 2nd tuesday of every month from Microsoft, not every day. Like said above trend should clean up any virus' and malware, otherwise try using a registry cleaner, that speeds things up no end, one i use sometimes is Abexo as they have a free one
  9. Yeah this is my thought, i was thinking even if the tyre place said it could be repaired i'd always have that doubt at the back of my mind at high speed, will see tomorrow anyway . New tyre is cheaper than a high speed blow out methinks
  10. Yeah i'm planning on taking it to a type place tomorrow, see what they say, just wondered if anyone on here knew if it could be repaired or not, guess i'll find out tomorrow. I guess if a couple of you have had similar repairs done then i'll keep my fingers crossed, cheers guys Kev
  11. Now worries Jim, cheers for getting back to me, worth asking before i order a new tyre Kev
  12. Just some advice really if you can, i've got a small nail in the rear tyre of the supe, i'll post a pic below, if you can have a look and see if you think it can be repaired or not. It seems a bit to close to the side wall to me but if there's any tyre people on the forum that can give me any advice as to whether to get a new tyre or whether it can be plugged. Cheers in advance Kev
  13. Mine passed this morning with 2nd cat in, when were they introduced?, i guess if it was today then its not a prob as mine sailed through with the 2nd cat
  14. He aint got it chipped yet so still running 220 odd bhp, if he had it at 280 it would be a good race, power/weight and all that, yeah i got a uk spec tt 6 speed, slowly goin bpu, just got the de-cats on (made a nice difference), fcd next then boost controller then i'll offer him a race on a track day
  15. Haha dont worry guys i'll give him a slap for you all later, he did challenge me but i declined saying it was'nt worth the effort or the fuel lol. Maybe one day i'll sort out a track day with him
  16. Sorry guys i mean focus ST, 5 cylinder volvo engine thingy, 220bhp i think. I'm not one for driving like a twat but like i say hypothetically speaking he was on his high horse and it annoyed me a bit lol
  17. Yeah thats pretty much what i said, to 70 or 80 it would be close and after that would be no problem, oh and apparently my supra tops out at 145 according to him, cos the gear ratio's dont allow it to go any faster, my response was that that if you remove the speed limiter its good for 180-190 ish but he knows best apparently. Ahh well it passed an hour or 2 in the pub and amused me lol
  18. Hey Guys, just been speaking to my mate in the pub and he's convinced his Focus RS will beat a TT Supra, speaking hypothetically of course , any of you guys ever had a go with one?, or anyone technical describe which would win? Cheers Kev
  19. I'd be up for this, be good to meet a few of you , guess we just need to organise somewhere to meet beforehand really, i know a couple of places in Hull but its kinda out the way for a few of you really, will keep my eye on the thread and we'll have to sort something
  20. Think after reading all this i'm gonna stick with my stock twin setup lol!, i agree with what alot of you are saying tho, if your going to do a single upgrade then it needs to be done properly rather than rushing and risking destroying your engine. Seen it done a few times to some of my mates on other cars (not supra's), underfuelling, bent conrods, not good!
  21. Hey all, Just a quick message to say that its the hull motor show on the 18th of this month, if anyone close by (or further away if you can afford the fuel) is interested. Its on behalf of the daisy appeal which is a charity regarding cancer and heart disease, there will be cars, bikes, trucks, modified cars etc there and some stuff for kids, and best of all its free for spectators!. If you want to check out the website its:- http://www.hullmotorshow.com/ I'll be there as part of the hullcruise stand so if anyone can make it be cool to meet some of you. Thanks in advance for reading this, hope everyone is well Kev
  22. A few years ago, when i was about 17 or 18 i was seeing a girl who lived in the middle of nowhere, so one night she phones me and says "Wanna come round because my mums gone out for the night" bearing in mind her mother is v v protective, great i think and get my mate to give me a lift down there. Anyway were parked up waiting for her to phone to say her mum had gone out, she phones and i go round. Got settled in, watched a dvd and then got down to it, a while later i'm sat in her window smoking a cig, feelin pretty happy about things when i saw a car coming down the road, bearing in mind its the middle of nowhere i told her and she looked and said dont worry about it, then she went to look, heard her say "S**t its mum" at which point i jump up, grab my clothes on the floor, fall down the stairs and have to crawl on my belly past the front door (only in my boxers) as her mum is putting the key in and run to the back door, run out and hide behind the house. I'm crouched down, lookin round the corner waiting for her mum to move out of view so i can vault the 6ft wall behind the house, which i did, sat behind the wall putting my clothes back on and then i get a phone call to say her mum knows someone has been here and is going mental, anyway with this being the country i was imagining rather large shotguns lol, so ran across this field jumped over a barbed wire fence tearing my jeans to shreds, ran down the road and everytime a car came behind me would do a commando roll into the field next to me and lay flat down, did this for about 3 or 4 miles fearing for my life lol, at the same time trying to direct my mate back (who had got lost looking for me). Eventually he found me and told him to put his foot down and take me back home!. I laugh about the whole thing now but i really was bricking it at the time lol
  23. Just checked their website, says all graphs are printed at the flywheel
  24. It was done at Well Lane Turbo centre in bradford, so if anyone has had theirs done there they might know if its flywheel or rwhp
  25. Now ur askin me lol, it just says MAX 328bhp @ 6600 on the dyno printout, tbh i aint sure if thats a the wheels or the flywheel!, i'm assuming flywheel so there must be an equation to work it out at the wheels, anyone know?
