  1. Ah... this i did not know... thank you for the Luck We're not doing badly, but nothing wrong with bursting past our target of £750 in a ball of flames
  2. Afternoon folks - i hope no one takes offense at me posting this up but i thought it might be a worth while stab in the dark On the 6th September, two teams from the company i work for (I'm in the Crawley one) are taking part in a local charity event called "Dragon Boats" Basically a number of local teams get together on a big lake, in massive 14 people boats and have races, rowing against one another, dressed in various costumes and generally looking foolish. Its all for charity, the companies paid a large wedge of cash to enter the two teams, and we as teams need to raise some sponsorship money. The charity is the St Catherine's Hospice in Crawley, who specialise in end of life care for the terminally ill. If anyone can spare a couple of quid they feel they could donate id be truly grateful - every little helps, even if its just a pound! http://www.justgiving.com/Utils/imaging.ashx?type=convert&imagetype=charitylogo&width=120&height=120&image=stcatherines1_logo.gif http://www.justgiving.com/edwards-crawley/
  3. If your bored thinking about supra mechanics for five mins... and fancy a change My other halfs R reg vectra has fuel economy similar to my old supra (about 250 miles to £60) Ok its old, abused and 1.8 but that seems a little high. I'm wondering if anyone can suggest some bits to go and prod/remove/replace to try and sort it out? Any help/advise greatfully recieved

  6. Cheers - do the DVLA not need to know its no longer in my care though?
  7. Simple enough question i hope... I have a provisional sale of my car to a German guy whos coming over next week, cash in hand. All well and good. Looking at my V5, im not sure which bits to send, do i do a change of keeper as per normal AND send the export bit as well, or just the export bit (but then surly DVLA will think it still belongs to me, but went abroad?) If i send a change of keeper will they go cross eyed not being a UK address.... any traders on her clarify?

  11. Cheers fella - lets hope someones in need of a well looked after standard looking example
  12. If i pop in to AFR at some point can i "gently test fit" one? I've moved so many bits in that area im not convinced it'll fit But it would look nice....
  13. How about four of them in each side Could drive up to Blackpool once a year to have them turned on What i'd be interested to see.. and i dont know if anyones done it yet, but some modern cars have an arrow shape built into their indicators... how hard would that be to do? Might look awefull, but you never know untill you try!
  14. Looks really nice mate, glad i managed to convert you to the mighty Auto Does it feel much faster than mine did (as it got more power)?
  15. I've got some ebay VS ones kicking around, from car mad styling whos widely regarded as being very good. I cant be bothered to spend the money having them fitted and sprayed. Only taken out of the box to offer up to the car (and they fit well) Yours for £50 delivered.
  16. Mine needs replacing, so does anyone have a goodun for sale? Can be standard or ally...
  17. Never simple... I remember putting a later rad in my early SX a few years ago, and it was about half the thickness.... giving the impression thicker possibly isn't better I will have to get the ruler out when i get home!
  18. Afternoon all... Yesterday at Brands my already broken and fixed rad has broken again... so i think it's time for a new'un! Ive found this place through the forum: http://www.carcooling.co.uk/catalog/Toyota_Supra_86_99-1217-1.html[/url] All well and good, but they have two thicknesses and two prices... 25mm or 41mm. Does anyone know the thickness of a stock rad core on an auto TT? (i'm not just being lazy - i'm at work and the cars at home, and i want to get it ordered today )
  19. They are pretty crud.... they will do as a temp measure but wouldnt last long i'd say.
